A guy that I’ve been talking to online is planning on having a first in-person date with me on Saturday. I live in the USA, and he’s from Canada. We’re not officially boyfriend and girlfriend yet. I’m worried that if he says that he’s coming for a date with me that he will not be allowed in because maybe they will think that he intends to immigrate illegally. He already has a return flight for Sunday and a hotel reservation. Should he say that he’s visiting a friend or that he’s here for tourism, or should he say that it’s for a date, or should he say something else?
