Doorbell camera- Alexa not working?

My doorbell camera (E340) was working fine with Alexa, announcing packages and alerting when someone pressed the doorbell. Now it’s stopped and I can’t figure out why.

I removed the eufy integration from Alexa, reconnected, restarted the Alexa, and none of that worked.

Any tips? I didn’t want to pay for ring cloud storage, but I wish the integration between Eufy and Alexa was less buggy!

2026 Pricing?

If you bought a new cross trek in 2026, what did you pay? We’re looking at either the base or premium (probably premium!). Were you able to get it at MSRP?

The dealerships quoted us slightly over MSRP (plus fees) and we’re trying to see what room we have to negotiate.

MBA or easier degree?

I work as a business analyst but I have a background in education. I’m wondering if it makes sense to get an MBA or an ”easier” masters degree like instructional design.

In my current field, I’d say having any masters degree is relevant and provides some job security. But the economy is rough and if I got laid off, the “easier” masters degrees wouldn’t mean much outside my industry. I really enjoy training and instructional design but I’m afraid to pigeon hole myself.

The MBA is more of a time commitment and more money (current company pays for a lot of it though.) I don’t know if I want to manage people, but more well-rounded business knowledge would help me pivot in the case of a lay off, perhaps. which degrew would you choose?

We have about 30K to pay for a car in cash, but the dealer offers 1.9% APR so we‘re probably going to finance.

Initially I planned on putting 10-15K down, but given that a high field savings account is at least 3.2%, is it better to put less down upfront and let my money sit?

P.S. I know getting a new car is frowned upon in this sub, but we plan on getting a reliable vehicle and driving it until the wheels fall off! We had a nightmare of a used car situation, and the used car market is awful right now. Used models are only a few thousand less than new with (oftentimes) worse warranties; financing, etc.

My music keeps cutting out on both Spotify and Amazon Music. It will play and then I’ll hear a “bomp” sound and it stops. I have to say, “Alexa resume music” but it’s been happening so frequently I can’t even listen to one song without it happening multiple times!

At first, I had it connected to 2.4 GHz but I noticed more issues, so now I have it on 5 GHz. My signal strength and noise are good, and I don’t have issues with any other wi-fi products in similar proximity to the router (ex: my phone, Apple TV, etc.)

Any idea why this is happening and how to fix it?

I'm looking for a reliable compact or subcompact SUV with a budget of around 27K. We had a nightmare of a used car situation so we're looking to buy new. We plan on driving it until the wheels fall off.

Stuff I care about:

  • It's reliable and safe
  • It will last 10-15 years with staying on top of maintenance
  • Good financing options like low APR (I have a good credit score)
  • Cruise control
  • AWD is a plus

Stuff I don't care about:

  • Infotainment, apple car play, etc.
  • Extras like heated seats, etc.

Where we'll drive it:

  • To work - mostly driving on country roads
  • Some freeway driving
  • We do live in a hilly area that gets snow, we like to go hiking too

Models I've looked at:

  • Subaru Cross Trek
    • We had a used one that I really liked, but I read the maintenance is more challenging than other cars?). This is the top contender.
  • Kia Selto:
    • Bottom of the list. The price point is great but I've heard Kias have engine issues and our last engine blew up.
  • Hyundai Tuscon
  • Toyota Rav 4
    • We've never owned a Hyundai or a Toyota, so I haven't researched these much.

Due to state funding, the public preschool in our area eliminated before and after care.

I’m glad the state is focusing on the important things, like banning drag queens and making sure our beer is THC free🙄(/s). Good priorities, right? (Here’s the bill for those curious.)

Anyway, how in the word do you coordinate school drop off (that starts at 8:30 or 9) with work? I work from home so I can maybe flex my schedule, but sometimes I have meetings at 9 a.m. I was wondering if there’s a SAHM I could pay to take my kid to school. What would you do?

We’re in a rural area so our options are limited.
