DTM is Awesome

Practiced for a couple hours yesterday in bright sunny weather and then BAM. Wet race at Zandvoort 🤣

I love how this game challenges me. I never go after wet races but it pushes me out of my comfort zone when stuff like this happens. I think that makes me better.

Managed to qualify P2 in split 4. Finished P4. Utterly miffed I missed the strategy to swap for dry tires halfway through the race. 1:42's on wet tires when everyone else is running 1:36's on drys... I was defending hard! Such a fun race and seems like a lot of solid drivers participate in this series.

Oh and I FINALLY cracked 1700ir! 😁

[NY0040-09E] New Citizen Day - Promaster Automatic

My new NY0040-09E came today and I am even more impressed with it in person. At first I thought it might be a little small for my 7.5" wrist, but it's growing on me. It's almost the same exact size as my Seiko 5 that I've been dailying for a while now.

The strap was extremely stiff.... I tried boiling it and shaping it a little, which did help, but I've also got a silicone band on order.

[Citizen] Promaster Automatic

New watch day today. Took delivery of my new Citizen Promaster Automatic and I love how this watch looks. Dimensions are about the same as my daily Seiko 5 but it wears little smaller. I can't decide if it's too small for my 7.5" wrist. Also the strap that came with it is garbage, practically hard plastic and doesn't want to bend around my wrist.

I've attached a photo of my Seiko as well for comparison. I think the Seiko is the perfect size for me.

What do you all think?

Do you label patch cables inside a rack?

Interested in your opinion on network patch cables inside a rack (6 feet or less). Do you label both sides? Do you label them at all? If yes or no, what's your reasoning behind it?

I've always been told it's standard practice but it seems kind of silly and waste of time to me when you can cee both ends of the cable to have them labeled, especially when there's no VLANs and it doesn't matter whatsoever where they land on the switch(es). Obvioulys the patch panels are labeled and any cabling that leaves the rack is labeled.

Really curious what everyone else thinks!
