Something I Wrote, When I Was Bored..

"She was the moon

He was the sun

She was elegant

He was energetic

She loved the dark

He loved the warm

She loved the stars and their constellations

He loved bright light, and their Sunshine

They didn't know each other, yet felt their energy...

They didn't meet, never met,

yet..

they knew that the other existed

Just like how the universe works,

they worked too

She worked through the nights,

loved it, as being alone comforted her.

He worked the day, loved it

because he loved meeting new people

They met, one day during sunrise,

a perfect combination of day and night.

Things changed,

In the morning, he had tea ready for her

In the evening, she had coffee ready for him

They existed, coexisting, quietly, not loud.

Just like how the universe works.

That's the pretty thing about universe,

you never know someone exists,

up until you meet them,

and they turn into your whole world..."

Help a future junior out 😭

Hey everyone! 👋

I’m planning to join KJU in the future(next academic year), and I’d really love to hear from current/recent media students about their actual experience.

I’ve been doing a LOT of research about KJU, but I’d like to hear directly from students about the media/creative environment there. 😭 Any advice or information will help me! 💜

A few things I’m curious about:

How active are the media-related clubs and associations throughout the year?

Are there actually opportunities to work on films, photography, events, college media, content, etc., or are these mostly occasional?

How common are collaborations between different media courses/clubs?

Do students get opportunities to work with cameras, editing, production, event coverage, etc.?

How easy is it to meet other students interested in filmmaking, photography, journalism, content creation, production, etc.?

Are there opportunities to take up actual roles and responsibilities in productions/events, rather than just attending workshops?

And overall, how would you describe the creative/media environment at KJU?

Also, if there’s anything you wish you had known before joining as a media student, please tell me! 😂

I’m mainly trying to understand what the experience is actually like beyond the official website and brochures.

Thanks in advance to anyone who answers! 🫶

Seniors need your help.

How is B.Sc Visual Communications at KJU? Are the faculty good? How much hands on work do we actually get? Timings? I heard the psychology department is the most chill, is something similar to that? Or no?

Anyone from the media department can also answer these questions... Please it would be great!

My Admission has been confirmed! ✨ What's next?

My admission for NIOS senior secondary has been confirmed. My subjects are Commerce/business studies (319), Economics (318), Psychology (328), Political Science (317), and English (302). What's Next?

Any tips? Any are welcomed. I'm really nervous, I heard somewhere that some colleges don't accept NIOS (?) is it true? I found out after getting my admission confirmed. Now I'm slightly nervous...

How do you guys study for NIOS Senior Secondary?

Hi everyone!

I'm a new NIOS Senior Secondary student, and my subjects are:

- Commerce/Business Studies (319)

- Economics (318)

- Psychology (328)

- Political Science (317)

- English (302)

I wanted to know how those of you who scored well (or are currently preparing) actually study.

Some questions I have:

- Do you study only from the official NIOS textbooks, or do you use other materials too?

- Are there any good YouTube channels, notes, PDFs, guidebooks, question banks, or websites you'd recommend?

- How do you make notes and revise.

- Is there any good Support Material to studying along with the textbooks? (On the website only textbooks are available,or maybe I didn't look deep enough ig).

- How did you prepare for the public exams, and what would you do differently if you were starting again?

Any tips, resources, or study strategies would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!

Doubt regarding eligibility for admission

Hello everyone!

I'm wondering, does KJU accept students of NIOS(national institute of open schooling) or it's affiliated state board open schooling? because in the website they mentioned "10+2 or equivalent" I'm planning to apply for VisCom... If anyone knows anything about this please help me...
