Its been 3 days since i started my OE

Its been 3 days since i started my OE and its a fucking roller coaster parang nabuburn out ako and at the same time naeexcite to give you context here it is. im 29 yrs old and ive been a cloud engineer for only 2years pa lang.

Im a Cloud Enginer.

J1 - 6am-2pm Fulltime 130k per month flexible and yeah natatapos naman lahat ng ticket and mabait lahat ng co-workers ko mix ng pinoy and aus. i really love this one.

Yun lang just sharing guys thanks

J2 Background check.

I’m currently employed in my J1 job, work-from-home, and it’s fairly flexible. I’m now looking for a J2, and luckily, to make the story short, I got hired.

As part of the pre-employment requirements, there’s a background check waiver where I need to list my employment history.

Can I just put my previous company name (not my current J1) and use my friend’s contact number as the reference?

Can i also mention that my J1 i sign a NDA?

Flexibility or Stability? Help me decide please.

Problem/Goal: Hello, I need some advice regarding my career decision.
So here is my current situation.

Context: I am currently employed.

J1:

  • Full work from home Fintech Ph based.
  • 60k per month
  • Flexible environment, and I can file SL/VL without issues ( super flexi )
  • Work environment is okay, and I really enjoy the flexibility
  • Since mag 2 years na ako subject to increase na ako and ako lang kasi cloud engineer

However, the downside is:

  • No HMO benefits
  • I feel like there is limited career growth here
  • The company is not yet that stable or well-established

and may instances na 2months no salary naranasan namin yun. hahaha

Recently, I received a job offer from a RCBC in Makati for the same position.

J2: RCBC Cloud engineer

  • 2–3 days onsite (still to be confirmed)
  • 60k per month plus 16th month pay
  • Good HMO and benefits
  • Since it’s one of the biggest banks in the Philippines, I believe there will be better career growth and stability

The downside is:

  • Possible stricter policies when filing VL/SL
  • Less flexibility compared to my current setup
  • Gas, toll and food expense everytime mag-onsite ako roughly 15k a month if ever na magonsite. ( nacompute ko na ). Umuuwi kasi sa province kasi andun family ko.

I’m currently torn between choosing flexibility and comfort versus long-term growth and stability. Since 3 months pregnant pa wife ko and we have a son walang magbabantay if may 2 days onsite ako. I would appreciate your advice. i need asap advice guys. salamat
