Started to make it on YT, start recording your hobbies!
I started last year and got monitized in under a month. Not to flex because im still making small amounts (600-1000usd a month) but im here to say start recording your hobbies. No matter if its too niche or too general, you never know what may take off. And if it doesn't on one app, it may on another! I do dumpster diving and metal recycling for all platforms but only monitized on YT for this niche. I do other niches on fb thats started a small monitize amount with an invite to the program getting to me around 7k followers (took 2 years).
Go pros, old phone, anything just film yourself and tell stories so they can relate to the person who's doing a hobby they are interested in.
Also, if you pick a niche like me you can make money from dumpster diving while waiting on the once a month YT deposit. Hope I continue to grow and I hope anyone chasing the dream NEVER GIVES UP.
