Best Resource For Learning Patterns?

Hey everyone,

I am new to LeetCode and from what I have seen on this subreddit, the best way to ace coding interviews is to practice and recall patterns for Data Structures and Algorithms.

I am confused as to what resource I should use for the above:

  • NeetCode 250?
  • DesignGuru's Coding Patterns Course?
  • CodeIntuition's Coding Patterns Course?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ty!

Just Had A Wet Dream and I Feel Embarrassed

Hello everyone,

I am closing in on three months of no PMO, and I think I may have had my first wet dream. It could be my second since I had a similar experience near the beginning of my streak, but I think I woke up just before any release that time.

I woke up right after it happened and felt really disappointed. I know wet dreams are the body's natural way of releasing excess material, but part of me still feels like they come from some place of lust. I have been working hard to control lustful thoughts, so maybe this was just a byproduct of that.

What makes it feel worse is that, in the dream I was masturbating to explicit material 🤡. It just shows how much pornography messes with the brain, to the point where even dreams can drag you back into that mindset and make you feel weak or ashamed

I'll get back up and keep on trucking I guess

Need Help with Preparing a Long-Term Schedule

Hey everyone,

I recently started a position equivalent to pre-doctoral research at an academic institute. I will be spending time working on AI research projects for the next 2 years.

Upon completion, I plan to pursue a 1.5-year Master's program and/or explore machine learning or research engineering roles within the industry.

Most of these roles have Leetcode-style interviews and I would like to slowly start preparing for those from now. I have a CS background, but I would not consider myself an expert in data structures and algorithms.

I plan to spend around 10 hours per week from now. However, I am struggling to come up with a long-term plan given the plethora of courses, books, and problem sheets.

Could you please share your advice on what I need to do?

  • Should I read Alex Xu's book on coding interview patterns?
  • Should I take structy/codeintuition/design guru's coding pattern courses
  • When should I get started with the Neetcode Roadmap?

I feel lost, and would greatly appreciate any help.

Thank you!

Another 5 Months of Insane Cope Like This Awaits Us

While I would also love Ishan to join KKR, it seems close to impossible for it to happen.

I remember getting carried away last season by the Sanju to KKR rumors lol

Shreyas Was Unfortunately Right. Venky Mysore Controls This Team

Why was Venky Mysore sitting in the center? That man has a chokehold on the KKR team.

We need to get some like Gambhir whose presence minimizes Mysore's influence on team selection.

Seeing A Lot of Positive Posts from the KKR Admin. Does He Know Something? LOL

What if the IPL is actually scripted and the KKR admin knows that we will qualify today?

LEMME COPE IN PEACE PLS

What If Venky Mysore Pulls Off This Masterclass?

While people on this subreddit are talking about names like Gill, Hardik etc. for captaincy, what if our mastermind trades Riyan Parag to KKR? T_T

Players Like Green Will Become All the More Important After Impact Player Is Scrapped

I've been seeing several posts (by accounts supporting franchises other than KKR) about trading Cameron Green for one of their players.

I have hunch that the impact substitute rule will be scrapped in a few years. When that happens, players like Green, Anukul, Harshit will be all the more vital due to their ability to bat and bowl.

However, KKR has Venky Mysore at its helm, who is capable of doing ridiculous things :(

I Hope KKR Doesn't Release Him

Up until a few moments ago, I was always firmly in the "bring Gill back to KKR" camp.

A bird in hand is worth two in the bush. Raghuvanshi feels like KKR's second chance to fix the mistake they made with Gill. We need to cherish him and keep him at KKR till he retires.

Bouts of Anxiety on a Moderately Long Streak

Hey everyone,

I am on a moderately long streak (1.5+ months; I haven't been keeping track of exact number of days), but I still experience anxiety attacks. They occur and random points during the day, lasting for anywhere between a few minutes to a few hours. I have gone a few days without it.

I raised this question when I was early in my streak, and many kind redditors let me know that this is normal as my body adjusts back to normalcy after years of PMO. However, I find it concerning that it still persists.

Has anyone else faced something similar? For context, I gradually became addicted to PMO over the course of 8 years (once a week without P, every day without P, everyday with P).

KKR Match Today? Still Haven't Gotten Over the Last

Last game screwed me up so bad I didn't bother seeing IPL matches after that. Was shocked to know today is a KKR matchday.

Just felt like posting this. Feel free to downvote as needed lol
