Losing five ponds a week on tirzepatide is actually freaking me out because i do not want to end up with terrible loose skin everywhere

I just took my fifth 2.5mg shot of tirzepatide and the scale says I am down 27 pounds in exactly five weeks. That is over five pounds a week on average and it is actually starting to freak me out. I still have a lot of weight to lose, but losing it this fast is making me incredibly paranoid about ending up with a massive amount of loose skin later. I know some of it is unavoidable given how much I need to lose, but I really do not want my skin just hanging off my stomach and arms by the time I reach my goal. I have been literally forcing myself to eat more calories and get extra protein in to try and pace things out a bit. I also started lifting weights so I can try to keep my muscle instead of just shrinking completely. Has anyone lost weight this fast on the starting dose and actually avoided the severe skin sagging?

What i found in the POETYK-PSO-1 trial papers

i have a mild plague psoriasis. It's never been severe enough for biologics but I use steroid creams a few times a month. When I started Mounjaro for diabetes, I didn't think about my skin at all.

Three months in, I realized I hadn't used my steroid cream in weeks. My plaques were still there but they were less red and less itchy. I thought maybe it was just the change in weather or something.

Then I found the POETYK-PSO-1 trial. It's a phase 2 study testing oral semaglutide in people with psoriasis and obesity. At 34 weeks, 52.3% of participants achieved PASI-75 (that's 75% improvement in skin involvement) compared to only 17.6% on placebo. Even the researchers seemed surprised by how big the difference was.

I asked my dermatologist about this and she said she's seen similar improvements in her patients on GLP-1s but the data just isn't there yet to say it's a real treatment. She did say there's a known link between obesity, inflammation, and psoriasis, so it could just be the weight loss. But the trial had a weight loss of only about 8% in the semaglutide group. That's not nothing but it's also not dramatic. The skin improvement was way out of proportion to the weight loss. So maybe there is something direct happening with inflammation pathways.

Looking for someone to check out my chimney before the "winter" hits. Its a prefab metal one and i heard the salt air around here eats them alive. Need someone who actually uses cameras to check for cracks and doesnt just poke around with a brush for 5 mins.

no way people are casually doing this

just got everything ready and i’m sitting here staring at the needle like.. there is no way i’m supposed to be poking myself with something that looks like it belongs in a bike pump

Even my asian boyfriends penis is smaller than this.. What the fuck?

for people who’ve been doing this, what gauge are you actually using? because the one i have right now looks insane and i genuinely can’t see myself using it regularly

also separate question, anyone running test alongside reta? anything worth knowing about that combo before i just send it?

this drives me insane. most days=meh focus, slow thinking, procrastination. but randomly… maybe once every few weeks… i wake up and my brain is in GOD MODE. everything makes sense, i’m productive, conversations flow, ideas everywhere.
same sleep, same food, same routine. no clue why. why can’t my brain just do that every day has anyone figured out what triggers those “high performance days”?

I'm so mentally exhausted with this at this point. I've been dealing with PCOS and completely wrecked insulin resistance for years. I literally work out three times a week and eat super clean, but exactly as expected with PCOS, I haven't lost a single pound in six months. I finally just gave up and asked my endo about trying Sema or any GLP1 to help get my hormones leveled out. The guy actually sighed at me, told me my labs aren't in the danger zone yet, and literally suggested I download a fasting app. Like wow, thanks man, skipping breakfast is definitely going to fix my entire endocrine system. I'm so sick of begging doctors to actually take me seriously. Do you guys just keep switching endocrinologists until someone finally listens, or is there a specific way to get them to prescribe it even if your labs aren't completely terrible yet?

BMI says I need to weight 150lbs to be "normal". That felt impossible. Then I learned about waist-to-height ratio, your waist circumference divided by your height. A ratio below 0.5 is considered healthy regardless of BMI. My height is 5'4" (64 inches). So my waist needs to be under 32 inches for a healthy ratio.

When I started Mounjaro, my waist was 44 inches (ratio 0.69). Now, 8 months later, my waist is 34 inches (ratio 0.53). I need to lose 2 more inches to hit 0.5. That's it. Not 50 more pounds. Just 2 inches. This reframed everything for me. I'm not chasing a scale number. I'm chasing a shape. And I can see the finish line.

I've been looking into MPPT performance not just at peak sunlight but during low and medium irradiance conditions.

I noticed Some inverters perform well at peak sun but drop efficiency significantly under cloud cover, Tracking speed seems inconsistent across models, Lower PV voltage setups appear more sensitive to irradiance fluctuations

Are there MPPT designs optimized for variable sunlight conditions? Does a wider PV input voltage range improve low-light efficiency? Any real-world data comparing MPPT tracking consistency?

So i just moved into this new place for a short work contract, maybe a few months tops.

The view is sick since it has these huge floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the river, but they get dirty fast.

I'm really pretty busy with work and don't have time to scrub glass all day, but I really want that clear view. So I've been thinking about getting a winbot.

It's just that I'm a little worried the winbot station would take up too much space, and when I move again, it might be a little troublesome.

Anyone moved with one before? Is it bulky or pretty manageable?

I’m struggling with lipstick bleeding/feathering on my upper lip.even with a matching liner, the pigment eventually finds its way into the fine lines around my mouth.

I’ve heard people suggest setting the edges with translucent powder or using a reverse lip liner, but I’m not sure where to start

What is the current best practice for keeping a crisp lip line on skin that isn't perfectly smooth anymore?

my inventory has been growing fast this spring, and with mother's day orders coming in, the labeling is killing me.

pulling from excel for barcodes, qr codes, price labels, and batch printing is a nightmare with free tools.

i've been looking at paid options, but they're expensive.

anyone in inventory management actually found a barcode generator that works smoothly with excel and thermal printers?

i've been running a dropshipping store for kitchen gadgets since last fall, and with mother's day orders starting to pile up this spring, the labeling has become a total time suck.

i pull order data from excel every day, but getting clean barcodes, qr codes, and product tags to print on thermal rolls never works smoothly.

the free generators i tried either add watermarks or look cheap when printed, and the basic software that came with my printer can't handle the variable data from multiple orders.

i've been researching a few dedicated programs that run a couple hundred bucks, but i'm hesitant to commit if it's just another disappointment.

anyone else doing dropshipping actually found a barcode generator that makes this part of fulfillment way less painful?
