Question] Is permethrin cream effective for removing nits from hair?

Hi everyone,
I have a question about permethrin cream. I know it’s commonly used to treat head lice, but I’m wondering if it is actually effective at removing nits (lice eggs) that are firmly attached to the hair.
Most of the live lice seem to be gone, but the nits are still there, and it’s becoming really embarrassing because people keep noticing them and asking about them.
Has anyone here used permethrin cream and had success getting rid of the nits, or does it only kill the live lice? If it doesn’t work well for nits, what actually helped you remove them completely?

[Help] Lice are mostly gone, but the nits are still very visible. How do I get rid of them completely?

I’ve treated my hair for lice, and most of the lice seem to be gone. However, I still have a lot of nits attached to my hair, and they are very noticeable. I’ve tried combing them out, but many are still stuck to my hair.
For anyone who has dealt with this before, what actually worked for you? Did you use a specific product, a special nit comb, or any home remedies? How long did it take to completely get rid of them?
Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Need help getting rid of visible nits in my hair

I’ve treated my hair for lice, and most of the lice seem to be gone. However, I still have a lot of nits attached to my hair, and they are very visible. It’s making me feel self-conscious. What is the best way to remove them completely? Has anyone dealt with this before, and if so, what worked for you?
