Help me build a shield + long reach stagger build

Hello everyone, here is what I currently use:

Golden Greatshield

Heavy Claymore (Lion's Claw AoW)

I need help cuz the claymore doesn't have enough poking range at times and doesnt stagger as much as I had hoped. I really like the weapon but I hope for something more stagger and long reach focused while still usable with my shield

I have heard of the Zweihander, but I have heard that it falls of late game. The Greatsword (guts sword) is something too however it doesnt have much reach and isn't a poking charged R2 like the claymore/Zweihander

I also looked at the Fire Knight's Greatsword but its DLC and I don't have dlc (but it looks amazing tbf)

So what do y'all recommend? I am currently in Liurnia but can definitely venture to Altus Plateau or some other area, wherever yhe best stance breaking/long reach weapon may be (that's viable with my shield and guard counters)

Thanks all

How to pay the enrollment onsite?

Hey y'all so me and my family are planning to go to UST tomorrow on Friday, June 26 in order to enroll. There's no particular reason why besides having to pay in cash, however I'm really not sure how this will work out since I know that UST is mainly an online enrollment process.

Sooo, how do I enroll onsite?

What can I do? I don't wanna go to UPM-Nursing and want to shift to UPD Bio/MBB as premed

Hello everyone! For context, I come from Antipolo and there's some concerns I have, as I have passed the following courses:

UST Medtech

Pros:

strong hard science + lab/diagnostics foundation

I like the course and subjects (not the extra stuff though like theology no offense)

good for clinical reasoning

big alumni network abroad for docs

Cons:

7 AM–7 PM type days

long commute to Manila (roughly 1.5hrs long)

not sure about research exposure vs UP

UPD Bio

Pros:

wayyy closer + easier commute (I live in Antipolo + my family is nearby)

more flexible schedule

Research opportunities

UP Town Center/campus environment is a plus

Cons:

leaving a secured course and needing to shift from UPM - Nursing (how hard is it?)

not sure about med school + abroad competitiveness compared to MedTech

I'm not sure about the subjects being taught here as some aren't really human-related

Main Questions

Which is better for med school (UPCM / USTFMS)?

Does UPD Bio/MBB give a real research advantage over MedTech?

How much does undergrad actually matter for ENT (Otolaryngology) abroad?

Which path is more “worth it” long-term vs burnout risk?

Help me as a clueless guy who is starting skincare

Hello everyone! I'm a male teenager trying to do skincare now that I am entering college.

For context, I have:

>Normal skin but oily nose

>Slight acne bumps on both on my cheekbone areas

>Blackheads on nose

Also, some preferences:

>Hopefully something that is really quick & easy to put on(I have heard of 2-in-1 products like moisturizer + sunscreen, is that effective?)

>Affordable

>Good just to maintain my skin and hopefully prevent sunburns, mmaayybbee whiten skin? And well, just make it smoother and more polished I guess.

That's all, thanks y'all!!

How to do Skincare as a Teen??

Hello everyone! I'm a male teenager trying to do skincare now that I am entering college.

Title: Advice for simple, affordable beginner skincare routine

Skin Type: Normal skin with an oily nose.

Age/Gender: 18, Male.

Current Skincare Routine: None.

Main Concerns: Slight acne bumps on cheekbones, blackheads on the nose, and a desire for smoother, more polished-looking skin. I am also interested in skin maintenance, sun protection, and potential brightening.

Lifestyle Factors: Entering college; looking for a routine that is quick, easy, and fits a student budget.

Budget: Somrthing Affordable. I don't really have a strict budget maybe up to ~800php?

Additional Info: I am interested in whether 2-in-1 products, such as a moisturizer combined with sunscreen, are effective for a beginner.

That's all, thanks y'all!!

Help me decorate backpack pls

This is my backpack, and I'm kinda hoping to make it look less default/techy and more on the preppy / athletic side of things. I'll be adding a bungee cord to the front so what would you guys recommend? I feel like maybe a contrasting color of the bungee or maybe a tumbler of sorts? Im not sure, this is for college help!!

UPM NURSING OR UST MEDTECH?? (I already got a slot in both don'tworry)

Hi po everyone! Weird post I know but I really need honest advice between UPM Nursing vs UST MedTech

Long-term goal is ENT / Otolaryngology abroad (preferably UK, maybe US).

UPM Nursing pros for me:

• Large research environment which helps a lot sa CV

• PGH connections/mentorship

• strong academics and focuses more on clincal/practical skills

• good networking with doctors in UP/PGH

• flexible abroad backup as a nurse (if ever)

But I’m really worried about RSA delaying my plans abroad + burnout/stress (I have a tito in UPM saying super duper pagod siya lagi, would I still have time for extra research or whatever?)

UST MedTech pros:

• Stronger foundation sa mga hard sciences

• Larger alumni network

• no RSA so agad na me makakapag-take ng mga exams abroad like PLBA/USMLE

• easier timeline for going abroad since no return service obligation

• stronger focus on laboratory diagnostics/research skills which could help in med school and clinical reasoning

But I’m scared I’d lose the UP research/network advantage. At the same time, I feel like medtech would better prep me for exam taking in the future. And ofc the RSA is a pain.

Main questions:

• Which would help more long-term for UK/US medicine?

• Is UPM’s research advantage worth the RSA? How to skip RSA?

• Can UST MedTech students still get involved in UP-PGH research?

• Which gives better backup options if going abroad gets difficult?

• Which path would you fellas choose personally?

Would appreciate insights especially from:

• UPM Nursing students/grads

• UST MedTech people

• Filipinos now working abroad

• people pursuing medicine after either course

Trying to think long-term (or baka masyadong advance lng mag-isip, ty!!)
