Hey everyone, I wanted to share a breakdown of why Mega Blastoise is turning heads in the new Regulation M-B meta for Pokémon Champions.

If you want to run a surprise sweeper that can completely flip a match, here is what makes this build work:

Key Stats and Mechanics:

- Base 135 Special Attack gives it incredible baseline offensive power.

- Mega Launcher boosts pulse moves by 50 percent, making Dark Pulse and Aura Sphere hit like absolute trucks.

The Shell Smash Strategy:

- Shell Smash grants plus two to Special Attack, Attack, and Speed at the cost of minor defensive drops.

- The standard set relies on Shell Smash, Water Spout, Dark Pulse, and Protect, often supported by redirection like Farigiraf to safely set up.

Competitive Context:

- While it is not dominating overall usage percentages, top players like Mao Harada (known for his rank one ladder climbs and innovative teams paired with Mega Delphox) have proven its massive ceiling.

Mega Charizard X is quietly becoming one of the scariest physical sweepers in the 2026 meta. While everyone runs Y, Mega X is the ultimate sleeper pick.

Why it works:

- Fire/Dragon typing turns your 4x Rock weakness into a manageable 2x weakness.

- Tough Claws grants a clean 30% damage boost to all contact moves.

The Best Competitive Build:

- Item: Charizardite X

- Nature: Adamant

- EVs: 252 Attack / 252 Speed

- Moves: Protect, Dragon Dance, Flare Blitz, Dragon Claw

Strategy:

One Dragon Dance allows you to outspeed much of the unboosted meta and land massive Tough Claws-boosted hits. Pair it with Sinistcha for Rage Powder redirection to secure your setup turns and watch your win rate climb.

Stop using Fire moves on Mega Venusaur in Pokemon Champions Regulation M-A.

You are throwing games because you forget this key detail: When Venusaur Mega Evolves it gets Thick Fat, which halves damage from Fire and Ice type moves. That 2x Fire weakness becomes neutral.

It is a 625 BST wall with 123 Defense and 120 Sp Def for a reason. It acts as an S Tier tank with only 2 real weaknesses left: Flying and Psychic.

To break it, stop relying on fire and bring strong Flying or Psychic types like Mega Pidgeot, Mega Pinsir, or Mega Alakazam.

I was kinda trapped when I first started nuzlocking on how the Duplicate Clause worked. Soooo I made a guide that explains it better. Hope someone kind find this useful

Including this encounter that was previously a rare, lost DLC in the remake of the game was SUPER cool.

Limit to 1 shiny hunt per screen EXCEPT if using original consoles (GBA, GameCube, DS devices)

For those that do not have a studio set up can utilize their tiktok LIVE VIA mobile. Just make sure to post the videos properly (stream must end within 2 minutes of catching the shiny or that catch is DQ'd) 

Judges will vote if a violation is discovered if participant is disqualified, and if suspended or banned from all future Enix tournaments. Judges will have overall authority over all incidents and will document anything that arises; and may announce clauses if deemed necessary by the majority rule.

There will be no macros, no AI playing, and no RNG or game manipulation.

The live MUST be posted start to finish, and be concluded within 2 minutes of catching the shiny. (Then if you wish to keep hunting just start another LIVE)

NO OTHER CONTENT CAN BE POSTED TO YOUR TIKTOK PROFILE DURING THIS CONTEST. (Except stories OR shiny losses, if you lose a shiny the rules apply the same. End the stream. and you may post the video)
