Hey all!

With 11th right around the corner I have a friend who is wanted to get into grey knights. I bought him some termis to put together and prime (hes not painted them yet, wants me to . ehhhh)

Anyways I play sororitas and know very little about GK, other than teleport? psychic, we like fire? like i was curious as to a few things

1 - how many ways are viable to play with them? he seems to like the baby carriers quite a bit but he likes the lore, apparently, and aethetic over all

2 - i DO know they have older than anything models and are probably in for a refresh, should he hold off in case of that? or just buy a discounted box of the cp and call it a day?

3 - literally anything else you wanna share with me. i have tried for years to get some of my friends into the hobby and some of them are finally coming around, but need help and dont wanna goto the lgs just yet, so im doing my part!

Hope that worked. im not really sure howto do this lol. ive been playing sisters of battle a few years now and still love them to pieces and plan on playing more in 11th but i wanted to expand a bit. another imperium faction maybe like custodes, i thought to myself. maybe a chaos legion?? O.O .

Anyways, I started looking into the models first, reading HH (I just started legions. so no spoilers! lol) and going thru each of the reddits. I LOVED the new murderwings (nightlords) set with the new sisters in KT. Almost got it but got Fraye instead.

Anyways I had it widdled down to Night Lords and word bearers, and in general i just love the aesthetic of WBS. Even if there isnt really any special models (unless you count MOP.) with that being said i love the religious kinda thing , sorta like sisters, i love the warp touched half human half something else models, and then models like argel tal? i think thats right, and possessed and the new defiler, and just the whole vibe

this isnt a "sell me your faction" post, this is, "ive been lurking around for awhile and i quite enjoy what im seeing, I would like to know more, i love the praetor model from 30k and a few of the others, also the kitbash ability, something ive not tried before i think i could quite enjoy. so i guess just looking for some pointers and help moving into 11th edition!

I dont want to play horde mode, but im also not looking for custodes elite, just something fun and in the vein of the models I enjoy. sorry for such a long winded post and thank you for the time!

i have been eyeing aos for awhile now, long time 40k player and ive been slowly working down my options for awhile, right now its skaven or dok... with a small possiblity of tzeentch .
