(29 M) husband says he doesn’t want his tattoo apprentice wife (28F) to be heavily tattooed

I recently started an apprenticeship at a local tattoo shop since that was always my dream and I have the time as a former SAHM since my kids are now both in school. So you know I like tattoos right? Like who doesn’t like to be tatted up as a tattoo artist.
I came home tonight with this beautiful piece done by one of our artists for free, showed my husband and he started spazzing on me. Talking about how he doesn’t like girls who are heavily tattooed, that it’s unattractive to him. I mean I get it if that’s not what he’s into but I’m also not here to fit into his ideal beauty standards. I feel like he should’ve told me this info about 12 tattoos ago because I basically have a leg sleeve as well.
I do like tattoos and this is my body, hence why I’m in the process of becoming an artist. He’s actually pretty tattooed himself so it really seems like a double standard here and now I’m really second guessing my future on if I even want to care about fitting into his beauty standards.
Every time I pitch an idea he knocks me, for example I told him last year I wanted super dark blue hair and he said no because he likes my natural hair. Im pretty much a great wife in every other aspect that I can be in, but it’s no surprise that I like tattoos and me working at a tattoo shop it’s like a given.
What’s your opinion?

AIO? childhood bff slept with ex boyfriend.

for context, we had planned a trip to bali for a few weeks and are leaving tomorrow, and yes she said she won’t talk to me until she picks me up to go to the airport. i haven’t stopped calling her, and she hasn’t stopped ignoring the calls.

so my (23f) best friend and i (23f) have been friends for about 14 years now. we met in grade school and have had a longstanding friendship with very minimal issues, so much so that this is actually first fight we’ve had. although i’m not sure she sees it as that big of a deal.

the guy i’m talking about is my high school ex-boyfriend (23m). we dated for 2 years in high school, and it was a pretty damaging relationship. but it taught us both a lot, although not enough- about a year ago, we had gotten back together, and had a brief revisiting of our relationship. i ultimately decided i couldn’t do it, although he had outlined and professed how he was going to fix it all and "make it up to me", he had an interest in the idea of me being a trad wife and i’m the sort that doesn’t want to be tied down.

anyway, i broke up with him about six months ago, and him and my best friend had interacted before (once at a birthday party of mine, where one of my friends pulled me aside and said they had weird chemistry) and seemed to be friendly. as she is my best friend of 14 years, i never would have expected this to happen, and so when she brought up the idea of a book club she wanted to have with him i wasn’t super opposed. (they are both pseudo intellectuals with similar philosophical interests so i thought it boiled down to that)

however, she never told me that the book club actually happened, just posited the idea, hence my confusion in the messages. i remember joking to her once and saying that if she ever did that book club there better be no funny business. i don’t even know what to think anymore.

this trip is literally tomorrow, and she refuses to clarify anything. she is genuinely like a sister to me. i’ve already asked another friend what i should do and he said it’s not a big deal and that ill forgive her eventually. i feel very betrayed by her, and definitely can’t imagine spending a few weeks with her. the trip is in her name but i venmoed her half already for everything.

am i overreacting for wanting to bail on bali? and has anyone gone thru something similar? i’ve never experienced this sort of pain and its mind boggling to try and comprehend right now. i feel like the past 14 years have been a lie and that she is truly a stranger. but i also don’t know if it is that big of a deal, because i was broken up with him.

TLDR: my best friend of 14 years slept with my ex boyfriend of 3 years, after we got back together a second time. it was because of a book club they started. we had a bali trip planned for literally tomorrow and now idk what to do.

EDIT: from what i understand book club started four or five months ago. so about a month or two after i broke up with him.

AITAH for asking my Step brother to take eggs of the menu at his own wedding?

This is a throw away account because both my step brother and his fiancée have Reddit.

My step brother and his fiancée are getting married soon. It is a destination wedding, the destination is very hot.

For some background my step brother and his fiancée met at the gym about 7 years ago. Didn’t start going out till about a year into their friendship and finally got engaged summer. They met through a mutual love for the gym and with that comes a mutual love for protein. Here the problem, I am allergic to a majority of animal protein (seafood and eggs mostly) I am also a little bit of a picky eater but I believe that is my own problem so I don’t let it effect other people (in everyday situations obviously)

Now I have known my step brother since he was 4. I obviously lived with him for many years, baby sat him, drove him everywhere (I am 7 years older than him). We see eachother as if we are blood related.

For his wedding I have done a lot of planning with them because I had a wedding myself so I know how it goes. For their destination they chose a beach and the wedding will start before sunrise. So they can have the sun rise while the ceremony happens. It’s super cute!!

I looked at the menu and there will be literally nothing I can eat. For breakfast eggs Benedict on some sort of potato patty with either herbs or mushrooms on top. There will also be a seafood bar throughout the day. And course an alcoholic beverage bar. They hired a caterer to do all this and the request for substitutions I have to go through my step brother first (which is a no brainer and I have nothing against that).

When I found out the plans for the food I asked if I could have a substitute meal he said no, I offered to pay for it he said no because “I would just feel so guilty if I made you pay for your own meal at my wedding” or something like that. Tbh I’d rather pay for my own food than die. There are no fast food places around. My hotel doesn’t start serving food till 8 and I’ll be at the wedding still. I don’t and literally can’t go the whole day without food because I am literally disabled. I have a connective tissue disorder there are a lot of symptoms that come with it and I need to eat or else I could get very sick and irritable.

I understand why he might be upset by me asking for my own meal because growing up I was really really picky with my food. But now I try my best to eat what I can. Eggs give me a rash and the shits. Seafood gives me anaphylaxis, but only when I eat it so I can still touch it and be fine, it’s a kind of mild allergy but I can still die if left untreated.

Having an alternative or just replacing the eggs with something else would make my life so much easier. My husband is on my side obviously but the rest of my family while still concerned about my allergies thinks I should just suck it up. So AITAH for asking my step brother to take eggs of the menu at his own wedding?

Edit: there are hors d’oeuvres at the wedding that do not have seafood in them. My options are pickles and spinach dip with crackers, there’s also cream cheese.
