Can't load a round. It just pops out. Tried taking down and reassembling, tightening screws and loostening them. No luck...

She likes to pose. Love that muzzle!
I stripped her down and she is spotless! No rust, no welds, not even much gunk. Cleaned everything and put her back together. But no markings on that barrel, even now that I've seen every inch of it.
I know it will come up so, I paid $900.
How did I do?
Just found this going through some old manuals and paperwork.
I've seen M1903s with the typical "bomb" mark behind the front sight, with a date.
But what about a rifle with sharp receiver marks (Remington A3) but nothing on the barrel?
It's parkerized, like the receiver, but no mark.
Is that a bad sign?
Wood is good.
We touched on this in some separate discussions, but I decided to open the question all by itself.
Do you shoot your milsurps? Do you shoot some and not others?
Why, or why not?
