(photo unrelated) uhh kinda a religious vent related to kemeticism? Not bc of the religion itself tho. (tw for mentions of sexual harassment, csbd, please dni if you are uncomfortable)

so I feel really ashamed tbh. I don’t mean to but I keep relapsing. I have (undiagnosed but very suspected) csbd(better known as hypersexuality) where I cannot at all control my sexual urges. it makes me feel ashamed and gross. sometimes I feel like the deities are looking down on me for having these uncontrollable urges. I’m pretty sure the issues stem from a lot of sexual abuse and harassment I faced when I was 8-11. I’ve never been genuinely assaulted or raped. but I don’t really know. I don’t know if I should feel like they’re looking down on me. I feel very disgusting and wrong.

advice for newer and younger Kemetics?

I’m very new to Kemeticism, and I love it so much! but I don’t know where to start exactly. I’m researching more about gods and goddesses using my local library and any Wikipedia pages I can find! but I don’t exactly know how to should worship or what to include in a shrine if I make one! Speaking of shrines, I’m not exactly sure what to use for one. I read about it on a Wikipedia page, and I’m thinking of painting some portraits of the gods and goddesses I will worship. My mother is supportive, but it feels kind of awkward asking for help considering I do not have my own money yet. I feel very connected to Kemeticism, but I feel like I’ve just been saying I’m Kemetic rather than actually worshipping and tributing to that belief.

edit: also, another question. This is kind of triggering and features self harm so please don’t read this if you’re not comfortable

I don’t really self harm anymore but I used to, does that go against any of Ma'at‘s beliefs Or anything in Kemeticism at all?

opinion on yumeshipping with adult characters while being under 18? (Photo very unrelated)

whenever I draw art of me and my yume I usually use my oc who’s aged up (they’re 19), but I yumeship with a 20 year old character while being 16, opinions on this? since it’s fictional I find it harmless, but I have been accused of supporting pedophilia when making edits of me and my yumeship on video sharing platforms (like I said, I use my 19 year old oc but my bio states I’m 16 in most Platforms)

Looking for figures within my budget (10-60$)

Sooo I’m looking for figures from fandoms im in under 70$ :P bc a lot of the animes or mangas I like are from the 80s-2010s, so a lot of the figures go for a LOT of money, but I don’t exactly have the biggest budget. I like Danganronpa, Jojos Bizarre Adventure, Watamote, and Death Note ! my favorite characters are Bruno Bucciarati, Jotaro Kujo, Gappy, Jodio Joestar, Jolyne Cujoh(JJBA), Tomoko (watamote), L Lawliet(Death NotE), Kokichi, hajime, nagito, Leon, byakuya (Danganronpa) :3 brands don’t matter much to me !

are my scars ugly? (Not fresh, they’re just very swelled up sometimes)

I’m honestly not trying to compliment fish or anything. but a guy in my class keeps commenting on them and I’m scared if my girlfriend will think I’m ugly for them. I’m very insecure abt them. he calls me a tiger or a zebra which I don’t like, even tho I’m Pretty sure he’s joking.

Here are some tips on how to explain your scars or how to hide them if you aren’t ready to go out with them!

For explaining to little kids:

Stretch marks

cat scratches

”i work at an animal shelter and the animals scratch me“

Birth marks

Surgery

Accident

You just woke up and got those marks from your mattress

For explaining to adults:

”What do you think they are?”

or just tell ‘em straight up. Excuses for little kids also may work on them.

How to hide them during summer or warmer times of the fear:

On shoulders: longer t-shirts

On ankles: Higher socks or high top shoes OR ankle bracelets

Wrists: Bracelets

Thighs: Longer shorts

Legs in general: Very lightweight pants

Hands: fingerless gloves or just gloves in general

arms/hands in general: Drawing with marker Or concealer! (PS, if you sweat a lot don’t use Conceler. And if they’re fresh, DO NOT DRAW OR PUT CONCEALER OVER THEM, They could get infected!)

How to hide during winter or cooler times of the year:

On arms: Long sleeve shirts, hoodies, drawing,

Hands: gloves

Thighs: Pants

Legs: Pants

Ankles: Ankle bracelets, or if your pants go over them, then pants.
