I've seen a lot of comments here which claim they have trained with a now famous cricketer at district level, or who have known one from school. If so, please share!
Was watching the last few episodes again and I just wanted to ask why tf was Akansha flipping on her opinion as soon as she placed it? When asked whether she agreed with Yogesh in the pairs task she initially disagreed, but it seemed like she wasn't able to explain herself and then give up. Same with when she was asked whether she agreed that Yogesh was more deserving than her. She strongly disagreed and started an explanation but then again gave up and agreed. She should've fought for her opinions man, because both of her independent opinions were valid. Yet she backed out on her points every single time...
I don't think she was afraid of jhund mentality, because she did go against Ram and his opinion to make Laila the finalist.
Between Bigg Boss 18 and Lockupp 2, both winners were heavily hated on and targeted by the rest of the participants, both ended up having all problems surrounding them, both competed against others with massive fandoms, both won against established and popular TV actors, and to both did Farah Khan say it is 'The Shreya Kalra/Karanveer Mehra Show!'
And oh, both are Shilpa's friends lol
Rude, unhinged, random, misunderstood?... That's Malti Chahar of Bigg Boss 19 for you. The one who started the trend
you had cricketers like Suresh Raina, Rututaj Gaikwad, Arshdeep Singh, Shivam Dube, Sanju Samson and Tilak Varma all put up vote appeals for her
PS she is so pretty
Are y'all really that gullible? Conveniently after PM Modi tweeted a lot of celebs including our cricketers, who stayed silent during the whole ordeal, started posting about the students and education. How are y'all not able to see that this clearly is some pr gimmick or some coordinated ordeal to get away from public scrutiny and criticism...
If these cricketers REALLY cared, why are they posting half hearted stories now?
Why are they being sooo performative and completing a formality by writing a half assed paragraph not even addressing the situation properly? Why did they wait so fucking long?
I mean look at Jemi, who posted as soon as this all started. That seemed way more genuine than whatever Sachin Sir or Gill was tryna do I have to say. At least she directly addressed Sonam sir's struggle and fight, instead of ghum phir ke baate Karna. The women's team are also under BCCI, yet Jemi didn't seem to have a problem standing up for what is right at the right time.
And I have to say I prefer the fact that most of the cricketers are silent so far. At least we know that they dont give a shit, and are not doing such performative gestures to make us think otherwise...
And don't come at me with some bullshit stating 'oh at least they did something'. No they didn't do anything valuable for this fight. What they did is try protect their image and do some damage control. These guys are making an absolute fool out of us, so please don't act as though they did something massive
edit- I'm saying this even though I'm a massive fan of ICT fan. What these guys are doing is not genuine
Ik his performance hasnt been that great this series, but credit where it's due
How many of this team have actually played in SENA countries? How many have played in such conditions before? Tbh I can only think of Shreyas Iyer and maybe even Ishan Kishan, and that too not as a team but as individual experience.
We all agree that our young team is so used to playing in such batting friendly pitches either in IPL or South Africa that they are absolutely clueless on how to play in pitches where bowlers get even a little bit of help. These batters aren't able to play grounded, to find gaps and just want to hit every ball for 6. Imo that is not they're fault at all, it's just what they're used too
Which is why I think this team needs players like Shreyas Iyer, SKY or even Shubman Gill for that matter. They know how to play in such conditions because they have played in them before. They have gotten such exposure. If BCCI doesn't want them to play in the 2028 world cup that's absolutely fine, but putting these players in SENA bilaterals can benefit the others carefully. Look at how amazing Abhishek Sharma is right now. If he gets used to playing a bit grounded he would be absolutely unstoppable. And that is true for pretty much every single specialist batsman in this squad.
Bring in players like KL, SKY, Shubman. We already have Shreyas. Use them as some sort of mentors or support players. This team needs players who know exactly what they are doing. They need to adapt to the playing style of such players. That way even if they don't play in the 2028 world cup, the players who will would get an idea as to how to play in SENA conditions, how to build their innings, respect conditions and find gaps.
How Shreyas Iyer played yesterday showed experience. He used the weak links of Rashids bowling to his advantage, while not blindly playing the other bowlers. If our batsmen learn how to play a little bit like that, and I know they can, then this team will be phenomenal
Should selectors move into trying to find a core in the Indian t20i side? Like players who 100% will be in the squad through every selection process? That way our most important and key players would get enough clarity about their role?
Like let's take the core to be Sanju, Ishan, Abhishek, Dube, Axar and maybe even Tilak. These players have been in the T20i set up since forever. Make them feel backed, give them clarity and responsibility like hey, you guys are the core of the team now. Encourage them to grind as much as possible in domestics, not because they will lose their place otherwise, but because they will have the role model type impact on the rest of the team. Make one of them the captain and VC, especially since they have been a part of the team for so long... (You guys might have another core in mind)
That is 6 places taken, and are possibly the 6 who are most likely to play the world cup in 2028 let's be real. Now the remaining 5 positions can be given to players like Sooryavanshi, Patidar, Prince etc in a sort of trial and error. I mean we literally have 2 years. We can give these players chances to expose themselves in international conditions after having phenomenal IPL and international.
And maybe the core will change overtime. Maybe a player becomes out of form or injured or whatever and then that's another spot available.
I feel this way we are giving a chance to the most deserving, while also backing our world cup winners and experienced players...
What do you think?

Like the children shown are REALLY young, and oftentimes find themselves in the centre of attention (e,g Dyuti and Iryna’s family troubles).
Dyuti claiming that he only got married to Iryna because she got pregnant is also problematic in the sense that can that not effect the children concerned especially since they have been exposed on such a toxic show at such a young age?
Like they are young kids…there was no need for them to be on a show about the drama of rich people’s lives.
They have no consent of being on that show. It’s their parents who agreed for their greedy means of fame and more money.
Was looking back on some mumbai indians videos and then recognised him. Where is he now?? I know he plays domestics in Delhi but other than that I know nothing about him depite being a big MI fan. Its like he disappeared off the face of the earth lol
So I live in Ireland, and I guess since yesterday there has been huge unrest in Belfast and Dublin over an incident that happened yesterday afternoon in Belfast.
I won’t delve into what happened exactly (you guys can look it up though), but I guess the protests and unrest is mainly directed towards the population of immigrants. Now I’m a bit worried that since the bilaterales are in the same area as where the incident happened and where people are currently protesting, it could cause some unsafe conditions for players, but moreso for the spectators watching.
A similar incident occurred I think 2 yrs ago, where a crime was used as an excuse to set the whole city of Dublin on fire and terrorise those not native to Ireland. And I’m sure yall are aware of all those unprovoked and disturbing attacks that happened on Indian students and citizens just a year ago.
I guess I’m kind of worried about the fact that the matches are going to be held just 2 weeks after the incident, and if it’s anything like last time the unrest wouldn’t have died down that much. I just don’t want something big to happen where people get hurt you know, especially since innocent people will get involved and then it would be a nationwide issue etc.
Or maybe I’m just worrying too much

See, it’s very obvious what BCCI and selectors are doing here with making Tilak VC. They see him as the long term future for Indian Cricket, and are even easing him out of just one format and making him lead India A in ODI’s. Don‘t be surprised if after the World Cup in 2027 we see him in the ODI squad. They see him as a future captain and are trying to groom him into that role.
Factors that have probably been considered when making him VC would include
- His age. He’s now the 2nd youngest in the squad after Vaibhav
- He has been in the squad for 2 years now, which is longer than Ishan
- Despite having a rough World Cup he has given incredibly good performances that either bring the team to victory or save us from an embarrassing loss. His T20i stats are also pretty good.
Now I believe Ishan should’ve been a serious contender for being the captain. He had an amazing short captaincy term for SRH this year, and was phenomenal in SMAT. Plus, he made his comeback in the team and has given such amazing knocks in bilaterales and in the World Cup. If such a clutch player is already in the team, why give direct captaincy to someone who wasn’t even in the playing 11? If someone proved that they can be a great captain in IPL and domestics, and has given such great performances, why skim over him?
Shreyas hasn’t played t20is in a long time. Even if he is a good captain, well so is Ishan. In an idea, world Shreyas would’ve been VC for sometime and Ishan as captain.
So yes, I think that realistically we should be backing Ishan as captain, not VC.
First of all congratulations RCB fans on winning the IPL! Pure domination throughout this season.
This question came into my head after realising that there isn’t an RCB player in our national team. I just thought it will spark an interesting discussion, especially with talks on who Should replace player x, or player y deserves to be on the team etc.
If all the players in their respective teams were to be in their absolute best form, and if the matches were played on ipl pitches, can RCB win against the national team? Or will our national team dominate just how they did in internationals.
y’all can’t tell me this wasn’t on purpose loll
