I’ve been really enjoying the show (partly due to the plot, the other part to casting (I really like both Alan Ritchson and Malcom Goodwin), and so I was wondering if the books are as good a read as good a watch the show is?
So I've been doing this for 4 days now. Where i've been getting on my drawing pad and doing these motions (Letters, Repeated Lines, Circles of varying sizes, Squares Bending For Perspective, Ribbons, Cubes stacked behind each other, and attempted faces.) in little sessions, typically before an actual drawing session, though one day I didn't draw at all but still got on to do this. And I feel like i'm seeing improvement, so I was wondering if anyone else does similar stuff to this, and if this actually helps?
So I am trying to learn digital art (I've always been a trad artist), just for concept art and character design, I got a wacom intuous pro medium, so that is what i'm using. Ultimately I know it is just a change in medium as to why i'm struggling, and it is only my 4th day trying, however it is really hard to get used to. I still intend to practice and get better, but there's a project that I really want to start on and I could easily do the lineart for it on paper, then take a picture, then trace that.
My issue is, does this make the process illegitimate, does it skip integral parts, and is it just kind of a cop out? Like I said, I still intend to practice and practice, getting better at my lineart, but I also really want to get to this project as soon as possible, and just the coloring is going to take at least 30 hours, if not more though, so I don't want to wait who knows how long for my line art to become proper, just to spend the same time with coloring.
So I have done digital art with k&m but recently got a Wacom intuos pro drawing pad. My issue is that I can make traditional art really well (imo), but the digital is just super challenging for me, i'm stuck at line art and am not really improving, it looks really rough and feels really odd. I presume this is just due to a medium change, and that it will eventually get better over time, but it is just very irritating and I was wondering if there is anything I should try to do to help out, I do like 10-30 minutes of lines, circles, boxes, ribbons, and odd 3d shapes before my actual art sessions, but is there anything else I can actually do to make it feel more natural?
Ik they have their own lives outside of unstable and are doing their own things, but I really miss some of the older players who have just been forgotten, namely in my case: Reddoons, Mrcube, R4trick, Nemvevo (though we may see him since falcuno is back), roshambo, fanst, wyll, and peentar.
I think it would be super cool in lore if 4c and Mrcube started working together.
Let me preface: I care for the environment but if you’re using comfy, forge, or another software that runs on your own hardware, I see no issue, and if you aren’t and are using a big server based llm, it saddens me a bit, but nothing I can do.
Now to the main point, I see a lot of people who prompt say they’re artists, I however do not see people who gen/prompt ai as artists, an artist takes time and effort with their craft, honing skills every time you draw, prompters just write out a prompt, sure that can take a while but not nearly as long as curating an actual piece. If you are a prompter and don’t do actual art, and claim that you’re an artist, no you are not, you are a slopper/prompter, nothing is wrong with that though. However, you cannot claim something that rips off of countless others as your own art, so don’t try to.
Also, if you try and use the “using references is the same” card it very much is not, you are actively creating your own piece using a lot of your imagination and creativity to create the scene you want, unless tracing or direct copying.
This has always been my argument against ai as it is inevitable that it will be used, however claiming the product was made by you is not the truth and so you cannot call yourself an artist. If anything the person who coded the ai, or the ai itself is the artist, but even that is a stretch. I think claiming ai art/slop as your own would be like asking for a commission then claiming what that person made as your own and saying you’re an artist. (granted the commission is actual art, but you should get the point.)

I would really like to see wemmbu and egg go back to the southern farlands, this is also kinda theory territory, but there’s been mention and hinting to the sky, which as we know can be built in even higher. So I suspect the forge is in the southern farlands, but is also up high like sky civ, that’s just my theory though, but aside from that, I just enjoy the farlands, and I think wemmbu is my favorite pov to explore the farlands, so I want him to go again.
This likely won’t happen as it’s shon how reliant he is on others and how much he’s letting power get to his head, but I want spoke to be a little more innovative. In my opinion, instead of him being reliant on null and Jamato, it would be cool to see him “come up” with machines on his own. Like I said this likely won’t happen, but it would be really cool to see like how we saw him discover the pickaxe exploit.
Minus the quick tp back to capitol city 2, how long has spoke been gone from the main server in lore, I feel like people would be getting suspicious at this point.
I really miss the prison and escape room style videos from season 1, I’m just rewatching and something about them is fun to watch and see.
On a side note, where the heck is proton now and where the heck is the wemmbu + zam escape room, as that was at least 1k blocks with no void.
After watching the most recent video, I just have to say it, flames character is sooooo absurdly boring. Like I know he’s known for PvP, but when that’s his only thing he has going for him, it’s just unenjoyable and un engaging.
I’ve felt this way pretty much since the start, the hyper fixation on PvP with not much actual personality and development just deters me. He’s had like 3 good arcs in his time as a pov, Law, Kingdomes, and Mist, other than that, I feel his POV has been very lackluster.
Like I don’t care about seeing you kill chungies every video, I do like the development of having more restraint and not killing everyone, but that’s about it. I’m not saying get rid of the PvP completely, just do more than just that, because that’s pretty much what 80% of each video is.
Skunks are one of my favorite animals, so I've always wanted to own one, and out of my favorite animals list, they seem the most feasible, so I was wondering how much it costs to buy and own a skunk, and are there breeders or organizations that I should go to if looking to adopt one?
After seeing that blue orbital jamato used, wemmbu needs to go to the forge, I don’t think the forge is a weapon, I think it’s instead a weapon workshop, hence the name. Jamato likely found that design somewhere, and I think its instead being a forge design is highly likely.
I know wemmbu isn’t that smart with redstone, but it would be really cool to see him take over the forge and start making new WMD’s, as I would really like to see something else he may be passionate about besides egg and the mace.
I feel like flame isn’t using what he learned really at all, no spear stuff, no mace stuff, he doesn’t do the bow launch he learned from swight, nor does he do the wind charge pearl jump thing he was so fond of. He only ever uses basic sword and shield, or carts, and sometimes “the zone”. It just feels like it’s the same thing we’ve been seen since his pov started and it’s lwk annoying.
This could be rooted from how I think his character is bland and annoying, with only caring about being the “combat grand master” but that could just be me.
After _ came to spoke I thought about something, since Jamato has ties to the underworld, what if null are resurrected/reincarnated players that have died, and that’s why they seem so endless and so uncaring of death.
As they have already died, their fate is solidified, so their death again doesn’t affect them, because they may be gone forever, but what’s the difference. This is also why we have no happening of them ever appearing, as countless anonymous players spawning at spawn would raise questions, so they’re respawned in the underworld.
This probably isn’t true, but this is the one resurrection theory I could get behind.
I Have been killing every single free kit in matriarch or harvester, because realistically what are they gonna do, they act sus as heck or just sit under shot off parts, and i've had enough, so everyone should just start killing the free kits in these events and stop letting them leech.

What happened between last episode and this one, as we know wemmbu was falling towards a cobweb or snow in the last one, and now we’re sitting in the open with a tone more people and he doesn’t have the totem. I am very lost here and am confused about the continuity.
