My baby and I are going to my grandma’s house for a holiday soon. Does anyone have good recommendations for a portable bottle warmer? The trip will likely be around a 5-hour car ride. I used to just bring a thermos with hot water, but I can’t really see or control the temperature that way.I’m thinking about buying a portable bottle warmer so I can heat and keep bottles warm more conveniently.Any recommendations?

The pollen is insane right now, and my 2yo’s nose is like a rock. I try to use the spray, but she hates the blast of the normal saline bottles. Then I try to suck it out, and it just hurts her because it’s so dry. Am I doing this wrong?? Please help pick a nasal aspirator!!

i’ve been digging through older threads here but most of them are either focused on full camera setups or older models, so wanted to ask based on a slightly different use case.i’m mainly shooting short-form stuff (talking + some outdoor clips), currently just on iphone 15 pro. might move to a small camera setup later, but not there yet.typical situations:talking to camera indoors (desk setup)walking outside / light vlog styleoccasional street/interview type clips (1–2 people max)main issues i’m trying to avoid:phone mic picking up too much background noise outsideclipping when someone suddenly talks louderbulky mics that look weird on clothesbudget is ideally under ~$150 but flexible if there’s a clear difference.so far i’ve looked at:dji mic minirode wireless go iihollyland lark m2boya mini 2 / boya magicfrom what i understand:dji / rode seem more “safe choice”hollyland is kind of middle groundboya stuff is much smaller/cheaper, magic looks interesting with the different forms but not sure if that’s actually useful long termi don’t need pro-level audio, just something clean and consistent without a complicated setup.for people who’ve used these:is the size difference actually noticeable in real use?how big is the gap in noise reduction outdoors?is safety track / limiter something you actually rely on or just a nice extra?

My e-bike is out of order, and I have three days to spend on attempting to determine what replacement parts will fit my particular model. This is not supposed to be complicated. It is simply way too complicated.

The issue is that e-bikes are not standard compared to traditional bikes. Each manufacturer has dissimilar components, connectors, and specifications. A 36V battery is not always interchangeable: voltage is the same, but size, connector, and size, and interfaces with the BMS all differ. Controllers, displays, and motors all have compatibility requirements that are not well documented.

I have been studying components of local bicycle stores to foreign suppliers of components on Alibaba that have different components of e-bikes. The information that is given is usually minimal. The statement that it fits most bikes tells me nothing. What I require is specifications of compatibility in detail that the manufacturers seem to view as a trade secret.

Although I've been incredibly impressed by how many corporations have embraced renewable energy with incredible leadership and innovation, seeing it in a college setting really surprised me. I’d never have imagined! A friend I knew there mentioned he was riding a scooter, rushing toward his morning lecture. I assumed he bought one but later realized when he described the electric scooter loan system that the school was offering them. I'd never have anticipated that a scooter electric system could have been accessible for a college campus! Instead of resorting to the campus taxis that have slowly been prohibited, the electric scooters, supplied with a battery, facilitate transit all around the campus, creating an easier commute. The idea of a school lending scooter electric and not restricting the students’ access seems forward-thinking and logical. My friend told me that he was also a member of the research and development team that came up with the idea. Because my friend is studying these technologies he pitched the scooter electric idea and the team managed to sway the school administration after some debate, ordering a first sample on Alibaba, testing its function and proceeding to implementing the system for students. What’s amazing, however, is the thought that my friends’ idea is something that now directly helps thousands of students to move around their school. Small innovations can make great differences!

Inspired by vintage desktop computers, this ornament is actually a smart alarm clock that displays the time and room temperature. Designed to replicate the look of classic old-school computers, it features a unique tech-inspired retro style. I keep it on my office desk, and many people mistake it for a mini computer at first glance.
