Husband and I spent the Memorial Day weekend in the Windy City and picked up some treats. 🎁

This is the first time I’ve been scammed in this subreddit. Username was nkolbow and purchased a bag from them for $200. Several excuses followed about not being able to ship immediately and more followed with no resolution or photos of packaging or tracking info. Never experienced this before but I’ve had many seamless transactions here and just appalled that people actually do this. Anyway, they will likely come back with a new user profile but I’m sharing this for the larger community for awareness. Truly disappointing. Should’ve read the signs early on:

Zelle account didn’t exist - said they have to keep signing up each time for the transaction to push through.

Asked if I can do PayPal and that went through fine.

Chase Bank locked their profile when I tried to do Zelle again.
