i feel like both of these duos (the latter is from the oc) really cared for each other and rarely got into fights (esp over boys).
both portia and piper talked big about leaving capitalism behind basically, but faltered when they got the opportunity. quinn (who is years younger mind you) actually fell in love w the culture and embraced it.
both obvi exist in the same universe as gg with some crossovers. the writers would have literally had the plots/vibes laid out for them and could have fleshed them out more (though ill give them props for taking the plunge on some og ideas).
ik obvi taylor momsen didn’t want to return but they lowkey could have just changed the main character in the it girl, use the same plots, and it could still work

she is the main character after all. and she looks so iconic. it’d be cool to see her style/it girl evolution as the books progress

me personally i’d love if it was just a filler episode, with no supernatural stuff. i know that’s like the whole point of the show but i think it’d be sweet/funny j seeing how the townspeople interact during the holiday.
brooke davis or jenny humphrey from gossip girl?
i’d have to say jenny because she was creating majority of her clothes from scratch. and a lot of brooke’s designs were taken from peyton’s sketchbook

lots of actual letters/documents from the characters, posters of stuff mentioned in the show, actual licenses of some of the characters (can put their birthdays/name spellings to rest), and pictures.
i also included the pic of the cheesecake box bc i j thought it was interesting how in the show they say it’s from chicago but the return address says vermont
ik this is a weird thing to want lol, but i find blair dropping the f word (she does it the most) to be so funny and makes them feel more realistic in a sense (obvi ik this can’t be done w the tv rating and all). also them smoking cigarettes j seems very on brand since they’re ultra rich (especially w dan since he’s a writer lol).
it def made sense in the first given that alex was present when all of the deaths took place.
the fact that death follows survivors is kinda known (lots of characters mention the 180 “curse”) so i’m sure there’d be other characters looking at the protagonists when they hear they predicted a tragedy and survived.
plots similar to works by jessica goodman or the thrashers by julie soto.
(also why is chace crawford lowkey dominating this plot in the media)

i’m sure alex hirsch was inspired by reno 911 cuz the similarities are j too good. if anyone hasn’t watched it u need to its honestly probs what blubs and durland are off to off screen

ike besides the obvious “jenny becoming queen” stuff, i feel like the writers really did something with their parallels
blair looks the other way towards chuck assaulting jenny, then goes on to lose her virginity to him in a moment of weakness.
jenny does the exact same thing, except the girl chuck is assaulting is now blair.
i only wish blair and jenny realized how powerful they could be together and joined forces (and that chuck got sent to prison😌)
like idk why them together made me laugh so hard but it did.
