Looking for people to play with, and to just make friends in general. I’m extremely shy and anxious so I apologize for any awkwardness.

I love to tame and breed Dino’s, mainly looking for color mutations but also just making some good Dino’s.

I also like to collect, my favorite dinosaurs are acros, cryos, megaraptors, and most small cute critters.

I prefer little to no mods on pve servers, as I like to build pretty bases without fear of dying, but tribe wars every once in a while is ok!

I prefer people over 18

Disclaimer: I am not at all trying to bash these people, nor is it that deep, I’m just very emotional and had a long day so I’m a little more upset about things than usual, but at the end of the day it’s not that serious.

I hop on to simply do some missions for the day, as I’d been at work all day, it was a long and tiring day so I just wanted to unwind…. Picking CoS to do that is…. A choice, Ik

I’m flying around on my little ice wyvern (can’t remember the name, is is 10pm as I write this and I’m tired) and I get attacked by a little oxy, it’s whatever, I breath on it to show my dissatisfaction. I do this for maybe 5-10 minutes? Overkill Ik, but I knew I wasn’t actually doing damage to it (and it had an adult with it) so after they go into a cave I leave to continue collecting my mush piles.

When I’m finished I decide to play an angelic I hatched at a random nest just while I wait for the time in the daily mission. I fly around and end up in the area where the oxy duo (now a trio) were, I saw them heading towards pride rocks, and from the looks of it they were kosing. (I have no idea if they actually were, it’s just what it looked like so)

I knew there was a group of people there chilling so I fly over and start to text “kosing oxy group otw, beware”

But I remember when I type oxy, I get censored, so I try to figure out a way to warn them when an alecuda (or however you spell it) kills me…. I was like “I was just trying to warn ya’ll, so very unhappy about trying to be nice, I delete the slot and make a noxu.

I’d never had a noxu before so I was curious to see how it played. The moment I spawn in, I’m in flower cove, so I decide to head towards fragmented spire to get some sat. There was a baby eldervine ahead of me, and I was thinking to myself “huh that’s a cool skin” without realizing we were heading the same direction.

I’m then attacked and killed by an adult puffwump, and I’m *assuming* it attacked me because it looked like I was hunting the elder, which just wasn’t happening we were just heading the same way. So I switch servers, restart the slot, and this time I’m in the mountains and I’m immediately attacked by a sarc. I escape and grow to adult, and I’m like “let’s go see what’s going on in oasis” since I really didn’t care about this slot. Things were fighting, drama, the typical. Well I head down to get some water and get attacked by a geo, why? Idk I think they were kosing. I escaped the geo but get low killed by a liss, which annoyed me. I took a break, deleted the noxu and was just ready to go to bed.

Well I stayed up a little longer to get the final daily creature I need and I decide to play it for a bit… but I’m thrown into the same server that the kosing geo was in, and I’m guessing they swapped specs to continue kosing with a turrim friend, but I ended up dying to them.

Now here I am, done with the game for the night. But it’s really frustrating that all this happened in one night

Again, no hate to any of these players for playing the game, I’ve just had a really bad day and I wish that these events hadn’t happened today, or at least not this close together, I had no good experiences tonight either to kinda combat them.

Ik Jhiggo isn’t very popular but I’m mainly looking for traits for one to survive better and just make it more fun to play!

Are they picked out of the species you own? Or random of every species?

With june coming to an end, the chance to get the pearl mutation is as well. I fell in love with pearl when I was looking at the mutations, it's so pretty and I adore it. I've also fallen in love with sequid, so I was aiming to get a dmg + weight pearl sequid, its the only slot I've ever really wanted.

But due to my working, and the LSS event, I have barely been able to grind it out. I grind whenever I can, and I sometimes get red traits but not a double red, and sometimes I can go through 50 eggs with an upgraded nest and octo plushie before getting a single pearl.

I could just wait until next year.... but I need to be in a mood for certain games, if not I wont/cant play them, so there is a good chance I wont be playing next year in june to be able to hunt again.

Was it stupid of me to fall in love with a monthly mutation and want a good one to use? Def. Buy now here we are, just a couple days before the end of june, and I've given up all hope. I'm still grinding it, but I'm not expecting anything.

It's just very disheartening and sad to watch the days go by when I am unable to nest hunt, knowing it will be gone soon.

I know this rant wasn't really as interesting as some of the others, but I just really wanted to put this somewhere, and where better than a place for ranting? Feel free to share your failed hunts in the comments if you'd like, and thanks for reading <3

What are your rules for kosing? Like what will you kill and not kill? What’s the weirdest reason you’ve ever spared someone?

Why do players request to join nests just to steal the other eggs

I was nesting as a silli, trying to get a break from grinding literally everything, so I’m trying to get a good play session going where I play as a creature how I think it would be played, nest some people, have a pack ect.

Well someone requested to join my nest so after I got two eggs, I accepted. Well as I’m inviting other people, my egg disappears. I’m like “oh wow two babies already!” But no, the other silli took my egg and then ran, I lost it and have no idea where it went. I didn’t even know silli could steal eggs.

But what’s the point in joining a nest to just…. Steal the eggs? This rant is not targeted towards people who play egg steals, only the ones that join nests purely to steal eggs.

Anyway thanks for listening, absolutely annoying behavior.

Why? I’m insanely curious as to why? From what I’ve seen and played (as I obtained novus a few years back) it isn’t the best at PvP nor is it used a lot. The only other creature that isn’t trade-able (that I know of) is Xele, which makes sense as anyone can get it just by doing a few simple steps.

So what’s so special about novus? Why isn’t it trade-able?

Is there a group (discord maybe?) for people to help each other nest? Like for free? I would both like to help and be helped with this.

If not…. Would anyone be interested in making one?

It’s so annoying that we have to buy the sub species, AFTER doing all of the quests for it… like those quests are the easiest or quickest to complete, so why on Sonaria are we expected to pay 5k? There’s three different ones I want, two in which the quests are done but I’m not sure I want to spend 5k on them… I have a hard time making mush so 5k is a lot.

Short rant Ik, just something I wanted to get off my chest.

Is there a way to grind tiktiks? I’m trying to collect all the creatures in the game, so that includes gacha creatures, but I find the tiktik is gachas difficult

I’ve been glowtail hunting this oxy for like a week and no luck, honestly I usually have better luck with these things, at this point I’d literally take any other mutation to be done with this thing TwT

Anyway id like to hear some of your gt hunting stories

Mine is: got attacked and killed by a thermirose or however you spell it, went back to get some sat for my body, and the dude had chunked the WHOLE THING, no carcass to get sat from, just chunks.

So, in my adventures trying to gt hunt my oxy, I’ve been killed a good amount of times as a baby/teen, no biggie, they either wanted it for a shrine or sat. (In hardcore)

But I’ve been under the impression that you can’t donate plant carcasses to shrines, so everytime I get killed and they take it off to a shrine, it makes me wonder, is that incorrect? CAN you donate plant carcasses to the shrine?

I’ve been under the impression that you can’t, considering you can’t donate herbivore food to the shrine.

Note; I’ve never actually seen any of them donate my body to the shrine, just pick it up and take it.

So, my thoughts on the new squid…. I love it. The design is so cool, the abilities are cool, and I just adore it after playing it.

But.

I do understand why people hate it, as before I got my squid (and even after) I’ve seen people be absolutely terrible to others with it, camping shrines or just anywhere they can in general.

But I think we should dislike the players, not the playable. Do I think it needs a nerf? Yes, I love it but yes. IMO most of the complaints against it are justified.

Now for another point that I talked to a friend about a while ago, and I’m deciding to add onto this one is… the giants.

Now I know this could never ACTUALLY work, but I had an idea that CoS should limit the number of tiers in each sever. (Again I know this will never actually work)

The amount of t5s in one server isn’t realistic imo, the ecosystem would never be able to support that many giants. And for me, I love to RP in the game, act like I think the creature would act ect (it’s difficult with revenge killing and stuff but hey, what can you do lol)

But with the server capacity, there would still be a decent amount of behemoths, but it also kind of forces players to play lay tiers they’d never normally play.

Now again, I don’t think or believe that this would actually ever work, because on one hand it SOUNDS like a good idea, but on the other I wouldn’t want to be restricted to what I wanna play just because of tier so.

I have managed to obtain all of the artifact creatures (minus shadow bc I’m dreading those)

It’s taken me forever but I’m so glad I did it lol

The shadow artifacts are the next up, and I… have no idea how that’s gonna go lol
