I know this crowd is probs mostly Amorican, but who here is aware do EMOM nights? They are Electronic Music Open Mic nights. It’s a sort of loose collective started by some bloke somewhere I think in the UK.

I’ve just been invited to do my first one in Chelmsford UK. I’m nearby in Ipswich and am working with a venue to start doing one here.

I think the fact they all fall under a collective umbrella somehow makes them feel safer for newbies. I’ve been invited bands and played live plenty but I’ve never just done anything on my own so I’m starting to freak a little.

Any one else know of them or played any?

Ok sorry for yet another desperate raging Noob post from me… but I am trying to connect my TD-3 and a Volca (to start with. Let’s not over complicate this) to my new Beatstep Pro what I ave just got - using a MIDI Thru Box and I can’t do it ! Wah 😭!
I’m doing all the usual ways I’ve done before using an Arturia Keystep 3 and just won’t play ball!
I’ve synced the TD-3 and a Volca from their ends but nothing.
Has anyone else had experience of this? Tell me what I’m doing wrong or what I need to do on the. BEatstep end?
I have to say that it did not come with the black and grey my adapters it was supposed to. I figured I could just use a regular stereo mini jack to 5 pin din so maybe that’s the problem?
