Is it possible to limit individual character vision without light?
I want to limit their vision to 30ft each but if I give them 30ft dim light to achieve this they can see other people's light if they are close enough.
What is the solution?

So far I'm looking at some tracks from Knights on Bikes and perhaps a few of the brighter songs from the final fantasy games but I'd love as many ideas as you can throw at me!
First time growing them and I'm unsure!
Tricolore fusili pasta (cheapest bag you can get)
Half a tin of Tesco baked beans (low salt)
20 cracks of pepper
Handful of extra mature cheddar cheese
Tastes alright but makes me depressed to eat
My budget is $50 and negotiable.
There would be 5 characters in the portrait.
I'm looking for a portrait to give to my players as a thanks for being so awesome.

Recently, as a result of feedback from players I've been working on improving my descriptions during combat. Previously I wasn't elaborating on any descriptions and just ushering people through the turn order. My players asked if I could describe things more so they could visualise the combat and I did that yesterday (and ended up having a lot more fun running combat!), but I noticed that my vocabulary is fairly limited in the moment.

This encounter was around zombies that were amalgamations of bodies and I was defaulting to the same words for descriptions which made me feel like it was getting a bit repetitive towards the end of the fight. There's only so many times you can say "flailing arms", "towering above you", etc before it feels unimaginative.

So essentially what I'm asking if there are any practises or methods for finding more words to reach for in the moment I suppose!

Thanks in advance.

My players have a set of compasses that always point to each other regardless of distance. The rebel leader they are working with might need to abandon her base & no one in the party has any means of long range communication. She asked them at the end of last session if they had any possible solutions. I thought this was a better angle to go from so they could present the solution instead of her giving them sending stones or offering a solution herself, but the PCs seem to have forgotten that they have the item.
The start of next session will have them leaving the Rebel base without establishing a means of contacting or finding her in the future, and I'm thinking of either reminding them about the item, prompting them to check their inventories to see if they have a solution or just giving them half of a sending stone pair when they leave.
I'm wondering what experienced DMs should recommend in this type of scenario.
This file has been uploading all day, over several sessions/browsers and it refuses to upload.
I've tried 4 browsers at this point, it just refuses to upload.
Sometimes the protein varies between chicken, pork and beef, but most of the time it's ground chicken, Japanese rice, assorted leafy greens, garden peas, and a sauce made of arbitrary mixtures of garlic, ginger, soy sauce, gochujang or sriracha, honey and sometimes miso. Tastes pretty good but I've been told it looks like healthy dog food.
I can see on the wiki that Basilich was integrated into Noxus 32 years ago, but I can't find any specific reference to how long ago Quilletta lead the rebellion.
I'm going to be playing in a runeterra based ttrpg campaign, so I'm also interested in any general lesser known lore about it.
