What a deal!!!!

Loyal to Royal here. I found a last minute deal on Adventure of the Seas for $665 for both of us guarantee interior 6 nights Western Caribbean. Although we have never sailed interior could not let this deal pass. Well we were assigned a promenade room, 8th floor midship.

Yes we got lucky! Not a new ship but that's our preference. At our age we do not need the thrills. LOL

Digging up a massive sweet potato harvest this morning

We hit the jackpot! some of these are absolutely huge weighing over 2 lbs. It is not my first time planting them, but I have never harvested this many and huge sizes (some) at once. They are in the garage curing.

Look at the size of these sweet potatoes!

Had some extra special help in the garden today. The grandkids came over to help harvest and unearthed two giants!

I honestly didn't expect them to be this massive. Safe to say the boys were thrilled. Unfortunately we had to stop digging due to rain. More to come

It's yellow!!!

There is nothing like eating fruit straight from your own backyard. Bought this watermelon plant at Home Depot and didn't realize was yellow until I harvested. I was so nervous waiting to harvest but the wait was worth it. It is juicy, crisp and sweet. Now waiting to see how the others turn out.

The results of my latest underground (growbags) excavation project. Behold the spuds!!!

Spent the afternoon playing in the heat and walked away with this beautiful pile. Some of these little guys are absolutely adorable, but hey - a potato is a potato LOL!

Planning to leave as is and cure for a week since it is 13 pounds and it is only two of us. Anyone else harvesting their potatoes right now? How did your crop turn out this season. Best season ever for me. I am truly thankful!!!!

First time growing 🌽 and i actually got a harvest! Yeah

I decided to plant corn for the first time and I'm actually thrilled to have a harvest. I honestly didn't expect this outcome especially given that the strong wind blew them over at one point.

For those of you experienced corn growers any hints on what to do differently next year? Some of the heads are not full. TIA

First corn finally! Plus today's haul

Planted corn first time. Didn't expect this result especially since the wind toppled them over. Wrll surprisingly here's the first of ten. Let's see if the others will do well

Overrun by cucumbers & squash

Haven't had luck growing these in the past so I overplanted and all the plants are producing. Lol
