Whether this is glaze is unironically or ironically doesn't matter to me. People are finally understanding that Naoya lost to the plot. Naoya's whole fight against Maki in the Zen'in training grounds was to symbolise traditional, and conservative beliefs are dying. His fate was sealed already.
Now coming to Sakurajima colony. I would agree that yes, Naoya did get revived by the plot as a VCS, but the only reason he got revived by the plot is to give Maki more plot power ups? Naoya's story already ended, this was just a nothing burger to me at least. I mean I'm not complaining, we saw the Goat get a domain and that's all that matters. If you have domain you cool.
Yeah I wanted to type more but nah. Naoya would've won all the fights if he had Gin's bankai anyways bye.
