As I mentioned before, Source 23 has a crazy sale on some Y3 models right now. I already posted about the J4 Brick by Bricks, and now I’ve got these 5s in hand. The sale price is only 128¥. I ordered direct and paid 350¥ shipping per pair. He used a USPS shipping option that surprisingly got to me in just 12 days (he offers faster lines like UPS too if you ask).
My Thoughts:
I don’t have retail pairs to compare these to, but the quality looks top-notch. Y3 is a top-tier factory, so the quality is exactly what you’d expect, and they fit perfectly True To Size (TTS).
The Grapes: Total nostalgia trip for me, takes me right back to being a kid. It’s a classic OG colorway, and I love that it has the original Nike Air logo on the back instead of the Jumpman.
The PSGs: Honestly, I wasn't originally a huge fan of these because of the pink accents, but for the price, I figured why not? The materials are super interesting—it feels very premium and high-end, almost like an A Ma Maniére collab. The pink satin-like sock liner is actually really elegant in hand.
Bottom line: At 128¥, these are absolute steals. Honestly, any of the Y3 models in this sale are going to be a W. Hit up Source 23 to lock your pair in—they're working hard to rebuild their reputation and win back the community's trust.

Hey everyone, just wanted to share a deal on some 2025 Jordan 4 Black Cats from Source 23.
According to the seller, these are the DGC batch. While DGC does some really solid work on other models, I haven’t seen this specific batch in hand yet.
My Thoughts on the Details & Finish:
The Midsole: From what I can tell in the QC photos, these have more of a matte finish on the midsoles.
Retail Comparison: I used to own a retail pair (feel free to check my profile for the GX vs. Retail comparison I did a while back), and retail is typically glossier. However, because multiple factories produced the retail run, there are retail examples out there that actually dropped with a matte finish.
Personal Preference: Honestly, I always preferred the matte look anyway. It gives it a cleaner, more stealthy vibe—which is exactly why I ended up preferring the GX batch over the retail pair I hit on.
Disclaimer: I didn't dive into a full, detailed breakdown of this batch, so definitely check the overall shape and minor details on your own before buying.
A Quick Note on the Listing & Seller:
The listing mentions "2026," but we all know these actually released in 2025.
So far, my experience with Source 23 has been great. He’s actively trying to rebuild his reputation with this community. I just received two pairs from his recent Y3 sale, and shipping took about 12 days to the U.S. via USPS. I’ll be posting a full review for those soon, but in the meantime, I’d say Source 23 is definitely worth a look if you need a pair of Black Cats.

Ended up with two pairs of these, 12.5 and 13. Sticking with the 13’s. These are from the original raffle, original receipt and shipping box included. $300 shipped plus PayPal invoice fee. Size 12.5, Ships from Texas.

These were a bit hard to track down in this big of a size for under retail. The smaller sizes are easily had not these large sizes. They’re not even in Stock X in this size, anyhow these are very premium. They smell like a legit leather boot or baseball glove is the only way I can describe it. True leather on these, very nice sneaker..definitely unisex for sure.

Copped these months ago on a whim because the price was ridiculously low (~50¥). Honestly wasn't expecting much, but I am pleasantly surprised. They aren't just a steal for the price; they hold up against some of the higher-tier batches. Compared them to my old retail pair and they are remarkably close.
The Flaws (Why they're likely B-Grade):
Toe Box: The material looks like it might be delaminating a tiny bit, but once they crease up from regular wear, it’ll likely blend right in.
Heel Tab Stitching: There is a little bit of red color bleeding/showing through some of the stitching on the rear tab.
The Breakdown vs. Retail:
Leather & Prints: The leather texture isn't an exact 1:1 match to retail, but it's very similar and definitely doesn't look cheap like you'd normally expect for a 50¥ shoe. The elephant print is almost spot on.
Cuts & Shapes: Toe guard height is absolutely spot on. The rear cut and rear tab are both minimally taller than retail, but that’s pure nitpicking.
Tongue: The tongues are identical to retail, with the only exception being that the Jumpman logo is slightly smaller on the rep.
Final Verdict:
If you want a pair of Fire Red 3s on the cheap, I’d highly recommend these. I don’t officially vouch for the seller, but I’ve personally bought a few other pairs from him now and the overall experience has been ok. Looks like they have nine Sz 47.5 (13us) left according to the listing. They fit true to size not overly big.

Hey everyone, just wanted to follow up on yesterday's post since there's been some discussion about the seller, Source 23. I want to be totally transparent and share what I've found out, as well as my own experience.

The Seller's Past & QC Issues:
The History: A lot of you pointed out that Source 23 was removed from the trusted seller list about a year ago. I didn't know this beforehand, but I asked them about it directly. They admitted they had issues in the past, but claimed it was due to a different team that is no longer involved. They say they're trying to rebuild their reputation.

Duplicate QCs: Some buyers yesterday noticed they were getting the exact same QC photos. I brought this up to the seller too. They admitted they messed up because of the sudden influx of orders. They promised that anyone who reached out about this will get fresh, correct QCs.

My Order & Experience:
At these prices, I decided to just go for it and copped the Jordan 5 Grape and PGG.
QC Photos: Heads up, their QC angles aren't great right now—they’re basically only sending pics of one shoe. I gave them feedback on this. They said they'll try to include more angles in the future, but today's batch will still look like this. Personally, for the price, I'm not going to be too picky so I went ahead and GL'ed both. I'll post in-hand reviews when they arrive.

Trying to figure out if these are legit or not. The seller sent me photos but they aren’t the best. Tried running them through Check Check, LegitApp, and Poizon. Poizon came back saying they’re fake, and the other two news better photos. I’m meeting with the guy tomorrow and he’s fine with me running them through the check when we meet up. But wondered what you guys think with the photos I do have. I ran the size tags through Gemini and it said they looked legitimate. He said he got them at a local legitimate store locally but doesn’t have the receipt. Thoughts?

👟 Y3 Batch vs. Retail Comparison
Important Flaw Note: I ordered right at launch. A week later, Y3 updated the batch to fix the sole color. This review is for the pre-update pair. The sole color is slightly off, but it’s unnoticeable on foot. If the update fixed this, they are easily 1:1.
Leather/Materials: Almost identical to retail. Features the same random creasing and micro-wrinkles on the toe guard where it meets the sole. Retail might have a tiny bit more texture, but it’s negligible.
Heel Tab & Embroidery: The bike embroidery on retail is slightly more detailed, but honestly, the rear tab texture looks better on the Y3 batch than my retail pair.
Sock Liner: Spot on. Not overly bulky like the GX batch.
Netting: 10/10, identical to retail.
Overall, Y3 absolutely killed these. With the new sole-color update, they should be practically perfect.

Just wanted to share a quick review of my recent experience ordering directly from Old Chen’s website for the first time. I’m a sucker for deals, so I decided to test their site out.
The Cop: GX Batch Undefeated AJ4
These have been on sale by multiple sellers for over a year (probably didn't sell well because the retail is so rare it's an instant call-out). I've always wanted them because they're cheap and come with that cool shoe bag, but other listings went out of stock. Figured Old Chen bought up the remaining stock, so I jumped on it.
Timeline & Payment
Initial roadblock: The site didn't have U.S.-friendly payment at first. I had to wait a couple of weeks until they added Alipay.
May 15: Order placed and paid.
~4 days later: QCs uploaded to the site. Approved them.
May 29: Tracking received. (There was a 4-day delay because I typed my zip code wrong, took them 4 days to catch and fix it).
June 8 (Today): Package arrived.
In-Hand Review & Flaws
The Good: The shoes are very nice. They have a different, much slimmer shape compared to the current bulky GX AJ4s.
The Bad: Found a pen mark/glue stain in person that was barely noticeable in the QC photos.
Customer Service: The process was a bit slow and communication with CS was kind of rough, but overall not too bad.
Comparison (GX vs. LJR 2025)
I pulled out my LJR 2025 Undefeateds to compare.
Quality is as good as LJR, but we know that GX is one of the best. Keep in mind this LJR batch is almost a year old and has been wore several times. I also messed up the rear tab, which is why it looks like paint peeling. That’s not a batch issue.

Note on photos: GX is on the right, until I flipped them to show the rear—then GX is on the left.

Overall, pretty happy with the high-end shoe for a budget price, even if it's too rare to wear often! Let me know if you have any questions.

Grabbed this set up off marketplace for $80, think I got a deal. Two lights, two fans, and a pop up enclosure. Everything works. I’ve got experience doing soles in the sun but never in one of these set ups. Any tips on using these, like how long should I keep sessions to, to keep from damaging the sneakers? ⚠️ The Cons & Growing Pains
App & Website Functionality: The app has a lot of limitations. You get a much better experience using a desktop browser, but even then, the interface isn't the most intuitive.
Slow Warehouse Times: They take noticeably longer to stock items into the warehouse compared to other agents.
No Weekend Work: Items arriving over the weekend sit until Monday. Because they only operate during standard China business hours (the middle of the night for U.S. buyers), communication lag means waiting almost a day for a reply.
🗣️ Final Verdict
Overall, I’m satisfied. Once you get used to the minor hurdles and the clunky UI, the shipping speed and initial discounts are hard to beat. If you want to save some cash on a first haul, they are definitely worth a shot.
I’m already in the process of putting together a second haul with them!
