What is happening , do I clean petcock?? Tomos A35 moped

Stripped this because I forgot to remove the nut before using the puller. Rookie mistake. Been fing up like crazy on these mopeds. Anyone know what I should do. I was thinking of using extractor sockets. 14 and 15mm no longer fit 🫩

Used a 10mm adapter to try to drill start it, it went for a little then just started stripping the thing out lol. Calipers said it’s slightly bigger than 10mm but that was after it had gotta bit stripped. How do y’all drill start it? Thanks

Want to replace the seat post for a shorter one so I can put long seat. Put wd40 and tried hammering up and it is not budging. Should I just get rid of this damn bike already? 🫩

Rethreaded a stud like shit but engine casing stuff went on with a good amount of effort. Can I save it? Threaded to M7 btw

Basically stripped the threads in engine block by over torquing it like a dumbass. I got this kit, I have an electric drill. I been seeing mixed reviews on whether to get m8 or m7. I decided to stick with the M7 original stock size for the new studs. So any tips? I seen use of aluminum block as a guide and tap socket and other stuff. Basically want to keep it straight as possible, it's my first time doing this!!

My moby is 70cc AV7 and needs a better crankshaft. Hopefully it can help with speed too. Still breaking in engine btw. Is this a good one, what seals do I need for it, I’m going to attempt to install myself. I’m a noob so is there anything I gotta be aware of. Also are there any other recommendations for crankshafts on a 70cc moby. Any help is super appreciated!

Got this project, just swapped the carb which was a pain in the ass for me. I noticed the throttle setup was so weird, way different than my other mopeds. I want to replace this and get a new setup, anyone have any recommendations for what I need? Also seemed so hard to take off the throttle cable from the stock build.

Super lost on how to install choke cable on this carb. I hooked the cable through one of those two hooks and it can slide that metal peice back and forth but don’t know Where to fasten it down in place. Any help? Maybe some video recommendations? Thanks

Made another post on here a few days ago because my exhaust is pretty loose/ wiggly back and forth. So I ordered this, but I looked back at my setup and it seems to have all pieces (#10,#11,#13). Maybe my ring gasket is pretty worn? Is my setup correct?

Exhaust is pretty wiggly and fell out becuase it wasn’t tightened well. I’m sure I dropped some stuff and need a set up with everything for the exhaust. The bottom bracket isn’t snug against the bottom peice in the vid btw. Also, I did not tighten exhaust nut all the way either.

Basically it ripped sometime ago and it wasn’t starting since then, it’d turn over but wouldn’t get going not even idle a little bit and throttle killed it quickly. Felt like when spark boot is disconnected. Now I wanted to know if I can get a female spade terminal, with copper wire and attach to the price I ripped open. That piece I ripped open seems to have two wires intertwined already. Not sure what that is but pleaze see photos and please help lol!!

Photo explanation: the less lit photos are where I ripped the casing back a bit to see the wiring. The close ups with more lighting is how I saw it before pulling out the female spade terminal and ripping the casing where two wires met.

May need to change timing becuase it’s overheating quite a bit, turns off then not on again for a fat minute. Never taken this peice off, any suggestions and tools I need?

Just over torqued the nuts When putting on cylinder head like a dumbass ; (. They came loose and I was able to pull them out easy frok the cylinder head part, for two of them, but I’m sure the other two are damaged. Ima try to use a re thread kit like heli coil. Any other recommendations ? Also, is my piston I’m need of replacing? It’s a bit chipped and scratched at the top as you can see. Thank you lots.

Debating getting a 16 16 or 15 15 dellorto carb, this is because I’m thinking of upgrading to 70cc kit soon. However, what intake do I need, I already have an intake that seems to be 15mm look at pics. Will what I have cut it?

Seen this dellorto carb on eBay for way cheaper than other moped websites but idk if it’s same or a knock off. Says the brand name. Want it for my stock 50cc tomos than I plan on tuning up and stuff.
