Hello! Is there a reliable guide for the right amount of head for each type of beer?

I realize I've been trying to give the smallest amount of foam to ensure everyone gets a *full beer*, but that's probably not right lol. Any tips are appreciated!

Right now, the bar I work at has a hazy IPA, a brown ale, an amber ale, coors light, genny cream, blue moon, Upslope IPA, and Dry Dock Apricot Blonde on tap.

What drinks do you use tonic for, vs club soda vs soda water vs seltzer etc. ? I'm in the US if thay makes a difference.

Newbie here (obvioisly, lol) and not yet sure of all the differences.

Also, is there one option you can generally use to top off most drinks if they need a little more volume?

Curious how cleaning rags are handled. Do you have different colored ones for wiping down the bar vs tables vs seats etc.?

Do you use the same detergent and sanitizer for wiping as you do in the 3chamber sink?

Hello! Opening up a small dive bar (capacity <50) and we want to have a weekly karaoke night.

I know we need to license with the big 3 PROs, but are there other licenses required? My buddy keeps telling me we'll need a "cabaret license", but from what I can tell, that's specific to certain localities, & I've confirmed with the county that they don't require anything for karaoke. Is there a federal requirement I'm unaware of?

Hello! I've been tasked with looking into security camera options for a business that's about to open up.

The entire premises needs to have video camera coverage, and that video needs to be stored for one year.

I have a few calls out to local security companies already, but thought I'd check on reddit to see if there are recommendations for something a little more *DIY*, as this is a small business in a very low-risk area, and right now the budget is pretty tight.

Are there options for say, reliable wifi cameras that I can back up locally?

Any thoughts are appreciated, even if it's just a more appropriate sub to ask this in.

Recently cleaned my tub drain and freaked at the amount of hair. I have a lot of long, thick hair (and a dog and a cat) and now I'm worried it's getting tangled up in the washing machine like it did in the tub. Do you all do anything to ensure hair isn't building up?

I do clean my washing machine monthly, but can't imagine that does much about any hair

Hey everyone! Wondering if anyone here takes 1500mg Extended Release Metformin at the same time?

I'm currently on 1500mg, but my doc has me taking 500mg three times per day because I'm dealing with some gastro side effects. I'm having a hard time remembering to take it 3x daily (due to several factors), so I'm wondering if anyone takes their daily dose all at once without horrible side effects?
