I had an amazing idea that Björk could possibly do in the future
I’d love if Björk released deluxe Blu-ray editions for each of her albums one day. They could include 24-bit/96kHz high-resolution stereo mixes, the original 5.1 surround mixes from the Surrounded era and new 5.1 surrounded mixes for the newer albums also in 24-but/96khz, and new Dolby Atmos mixes all in lossless quality. The set could also feature restored 1080p versions of the music videos from each album era, along with live films and concert performances.
I imagine it either being one large Blu-ray with everything included, or a two-disc set where one disc contains the audio mixes and the second contains the videos and live material. With Björk’s focus on immersive sound, visuals, and physical artwork, a release like this would feel perfect for her catalog.
It would be awesome if it could be released in a giant box set like the Surrounded one and also individual! Not in standard Blu Ray cases, but hardbound books with imagery and lyrics from each era. It would be cool if there was writing from Björk herself talking about the album
