I’ve had this in my closet for the better part of 20 years. Never quite fit me and now I’m putting it up for sale.
Can anyone help me pin down date and potential pricing? It is in near mint condition. No doubt about it being legit. Just trying to learn more if possible.
From research I think it’s a late 60s 613 due to the Talon zips and tag. Any further insight is greatly appreciated.

Looking to the community for their views, and to sense check my view.
I just received a pair of Pure Blue Japan’s in the USED-003-IND wash.
They fit great. No issues there. But as you’ll notice from the photo there is a pronounced leg twist on the left leg.
I know this is a feature of the selvedge game, but man does it bother me.
I’m in the UK and had these imported from Withered Fig. Had to pay import and will have to pay return shipping (and customs again on anything I exchange them for). So it’ll leave me more than £100 out of pocket to return. I know, buy local. But not always possible in my size.
What is the community’s view on leg twist? Just something you have to accept? Good look? Bad look?
I’m not thrilled with them but I don’t want to be hasty and throw more money at the issue. What would you do?

There have been a few discussions on here about RRL denim and questions about whether it qualifies as “heritage wear” and debates about the quality for price.
I thought I would weigh in on a recent purchase of a pair of their Straight Fit denim in Dusty Black I had delivered today (https://www.ralphlauren.co.uk/en/straight-fit-jean-3616535255258.html)
In short, I am underwhelmed. For the price, quality is simply not there. The fabric is decent, fittings are decent, and they fit me great! But they are largely indistinguishable from a decent pair or 501s.
However, at this price point you are have a lot of high end Japanese options with better fabrics and that are simply more interesting. Granted, not a lot that I’ve come across in this colour. I will be sending these back tomorrow and continuing my search for a high-quality “washed black” pair like these. I appreciate any advice if you know where to look!
None of this is to say that RRL doesn’t do some great pieces. They do. But if this is indicative of their denim, then I just can’t recommend it for anyone interested.
