First decent rainbow
Don't worry she was only outta the water for the length of this video no longer. Caught on a worm 4lbs line UL rod. Only been fishing trout for a little bit here but I'm having a lot of fun!

Which of these is your preferred spot for trout fishing? Going out to nordegg tomorrow will probably try both. I would be open to trying abraham as well under the Cline bridge but I've heard it's not worth it.
Are there okay spots to shore fish at cold lake? I've never been there but I want to get out there soon and try catch lake trout. I don't have a boat.
I want to try bank fishing multi species trout this weekend. But I don't have much experience - mostly fished stock ponds so far and caught dinks. Willing to drive far for a good day of fishing though. Also, any tips for targeting different types of trout on a spinning rod setup? I have a medium light, ultralight, and medium heavy. What lures/ approach would you take?
Edit: I live in edmonton
Moved to Stony plain recently. I realize most lakes won't be open just yet but are there any places worth fishing without a boat?
Anyone pulled any Pike out of the North Saskatchewan yet? I've gone a couple times since ice out but haven't had much luck. Could you guys share some tips to have success this time of year?
Been a weird spring weather wise. Curious if anyone has had luck yet or if most of you are still waiting till things are less muddy & more thawed out.
