Dealing with istihadhah (bleeding between periods)

This feels niche as I haven’t seen other Muslim girls talk about it but it so spiritually draining dealing with this.
I’ve read so many fiqh about this but it doesn’t alleviate the burden of it.

Having to clean yourself and renew your whudu for each salah even if you just did whudu. Also meaning you can’t prepare for salah in advance. Worrying about how I’m going to pray when I’m outside.

Blood tests and ultrasounds all come back normal so don’t know what’s causing it. I wouldn’t even care if it wasn’t for the fact that it affects me spiritually and the doctors don’t understand that.

It makes practising feel like such a burden and I’m so tired of it. I’ve never seen other sisters talk about this and it feels so lonely.

My last blood test in March showed my serum ferritin was 7 ug/L and haemoglobin 110 g/L

I’ve had low iron for years but it has never been this low. I was prescribed iron tablets but I stopped taking them because they made me feel sick and I vomited the last time I took them. It doesn’t help whether I taken them before/after/during food intake, I still feel sick. I told my gp about this and nothing was done, they just said to take it every other day but I can’t bear how sick the iron tablets make me feel. Lately, I’ve been feeling very weak with achy bones and muscles, chest pains with pressure in the chest, hair loss since the start of the year and of right now my period is three days late when it’s usually on time.
My vitamin B12 was also very low for the first time in my life as per my last blood test in March and I was given 6 B12 injections but there was no investigation done on what caused it to be low in the first place. I’m unsure what to do and I don’t think my gp is going to help with much at this point.

Also beginning of last year when I spoke to the gp about my iron tablets and I mentioned my ferritin being 12 ug/L at the time, I was told that it’s not that low :(

My ucat is booked for the 15th of September. When should I start studying to avoid burning out?

Hello, last year was my first time doing the ucat. I started prepping in June when my exam was in September and ending up getting tired of practise which resulted in me missing several days of studying. I ended up getting just above 1700 B2. This year I’ve booked my test for the 15th of September and I’d like advice on the best time to start studying to avoid burning out. Also advice on quantitative reasoning and decision making sections would be much appreciated, as those were the two areas I struggled with the most. I feel like I sometimes take too long to read and understand what a question is asking me.

I just graduated from biomed with a first and the only healthcare experience I have is volunteering in a hospital and a one week work experience shadowing different doctors in a hospital. Is this enough experience for GEM. I know I don’t meet the requirements for Warwick but what about for other gem unis like kcl and queen Mary’s in London (I’d ideally like to stay in London but obviously wouldn’t mind having to move out if need be)

Just booked my ucat for 15th of September

I wanted to book for late August but there weren’t any dates and all the other dates were too early for me so September it is. This is my second time sitting the ucat and I think last year I started studying too early and burnt out towards the end, so when would be the best time to ideally start studying. I’m also a grad entry student and I just graduated this year so I don’t have to worry about scl starting in September :)

Itchy lump near vagina

I only just discovered the lump and it’s to the lower left of the vaginal opening. The lump itself is hard/firm to the touch and only painful when pressure is applied. It quite itchy though. There’s also no colour change.

Masters relevant experience

Hello guys, I’m currently a 3rd year biomed undergrad applying for a masters in neuroscience. One part of the application is asking for relevant professional experience. I don’t have any direct relevant experience in neuroscience but I was wondering if putting my final year research project is acceptable?

Masters before GEM

Hello, I need some help on what to do. So I’m a third year biomedical science student finishing up this year and I’m thinking of starting a one year masters program this September. I also plan on applying for GEM this year. My only issue is assuming that I am successful in getting into GEM, will the start time not clash with the masters? I’ve even emailed one of the universities I’m applying to for masters about their course end time and they weren’t able to give me a definite end time. If anyone has been in a similar situation then any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks
