Went with the OME Nitrocharger plus in all four corners, whole medium duty dakar pack with the add a leaf. Medium duty springs up front. Only had it like this for a day. Got it aligned right after, everything else is stock and it seems to be just fine but it rides absolutely amazing so far. I think I ended up with damn near 4.5 inches in the back and about 2.5-3” in the front. Have not actually stopped to measure yet but it’s a lot higher than it was. I got the 2.5” lift but my previous suspension was absolutely cooked and a snapped leaf on the drives side

Working on my first build. On a bit of a budget but that hasn’t stopped me yet. Looking for suggestions on how to set up a decent truck that’ll keep me adventuring for a few years until I have a larger budget. Truck is a 2002 v6 SR5. Any advice or criticisms welcome. Also looking for friends to go on trips with. No one I know is interested unfortunately. I’m from northern CT, not much fun to be had around here unfortunately.

Edit: I have basic essentials and am familiar with vehicle maintenance. Always been a chevy guy, so any Tacoma experts out there that want to give me any advice specifically related to Tacomas would be appreciated. I’m more looking for advice on what brands to try or avoid, what gear specifically pertains to longer trips or anything along the lines of that.

Looking into buying a Tacoma. Always been a Chevy guy but I’m thinking about giving it a shot. My knowledge is rather limited on them other than that they’re supposed to last forever and they’re a superior off road rig. Both of those are important to me. This one is a 2002 SR5 with 246,000 on it. Guy wants 7k with no winch. What’s everyone’s opinions? Listing description is included in photos above. Thanks in advance.

I’m from northern CT, right under Southwick mass. I don’t really have anyone to ride with, or that many places to go. I’m getting tired of the same three places. I’m interested in trying out the tracks in Massachusetts but also really enjoy doing some trail riding. I ride a 2023 YZ250F, in my opinion a decent happy medium for some track and trail riding.

My girlfriend got bit or stung by something three days ago and is now saying it hurts from point of bite to a couple inches up her arm. Is this any cause for concern? I don’t think so and I told her to stop scratching it, it wasn’t open until she scratched through the skin. Been cleaning it and applying Neosporin to be safe.
