as per title. looking to pick one up second hand. london uk based, mainly city driving with monthly 200 mile trips. needs CarPlay. I have home charging. I feel base 1.5 2020 is enough, but am I missing something?
Apologies if this is a FAQ but I couldn't find it...
Interested in people experience with going from Roccbox to an Arc (I dont have room for an XL).
I have had the Roccbox for 7 years now, its still solid despite living outdoors all that time, but I do find its small size limiting (read - hard to manoeuvre max sized pizzas) and the back burner hard to keep an eye on (ok, user error too).
Anyway, anyone else dont the jump and if so how did they find it for every day use? I make pizzas about once a month and usually 4-6.
roast cauliflower, guacamole and home made salsa with onions and coriander.
long story short it was looking like I was going to be out of work again (after a pretty hectic and joyless 2 years of contracting and job hunting), but before the decision has been made I was approached by someone I used to work with and mentored who’s now leadership and wanted me in their team again.
Accepted yesterday while also having two other interviews lined up, another rec and one cold apply.
it’s not all horror out there folks, although I was prepared for the usual 6 month hell slog
10+ years, in London.
Hi folks, after some advice as I am not a car person at all (despite once working in the Motor industry for a few years).
My current 2010 VW polo 1.2 is about to fall apart, not helped by the amount of things my wife drives it into, but here we are...
I like the look of Polestars, specifically the model 2. We are a family of 3, we use our car once a week, maybe twice for short trips, and once a month drive 200 miles visiting family.
What do I need to look out for when buying a used electric / Polestar?
Mileage? I think our Polo has around 80k miles, timing chain went around 45, whats considered high mileage for electric?
Would there be a more sensible option than a Polestar? TBH I dont really want to buy a new car so spending money I dont want to spend on something I really dont want doesn't appeal.
Anyway, enough waffle, im all ears advice wise...
70% hydration was lovely.
“chicken” tacos, kohlrabi and carrot slaw, home made salsa and guacamole.
prob needed more spice.
it was ok. almost feel like cars should be way harder to find and keep running.
next up is hard and fast all great stats via community editor. I’ve never built a custom character before, what are everyone’s recs? red talon level stuff? I love swordplay and marathon, oh and obvs the aim lock gunslinger option.
I think it’s original so absolutely fucked, dont have the money for a replacement so it’s another year of patching. how would I fill this though? looks like filler and paint on original wood. I know the right answer is stripping it back to wood and doing properly but I don’t have the time for that.
yeah i know the chances are super low, near negative, but apple's gptk makes it pretty easy to at least get a basic version working. I’ve played sod2 on my mac using translation tools.
long shot, but putting it out there, just in case. would love to play this when I’m not at home too.
