Card authenticator called out listing discrepancy, photographed ‘bent corner’

The corner of the card is not bent and they sent a blurry photograph to show it. Buyer initiated a return request. I think the authenticator is in the wrong. Any recourse?

Trying to find comps

Checked eBay, used Google Lens and checked 130pt and I can’t find any sales of this 2016 Force Awakens /10 auto.

If someone on here were to offer, where would you be at?? I know I know, it’s worth what the market would be willing to pay so I should list it and just find out. Contemplating it and starting at $1 to find what market value is but wanted to check first.

Thanks for reading and anything you’re able to share.

Pool repair referrals in Rhode Island?

Pool had a liner. The bottom is all sand and is level, I think the previous owner was in the process of filling it in before selling it.

Wall is bulging out further than seen here. Got one quote already, company said they would need to actually make it bigger to pin the wall back. We’d like to keep it the same size if possible.

Have a few inquiries out for quotes, just wanted to see if anyone has trusted reputable pool renovation companies to recommend.

Thanks in advance for reading and anything you’re able to share!

Hatch Baby install help; bottom button won’t put it in sync mode and app won’t register it. Anyone experience this?

* go read my comment if you have Verizon and can’t figure out how to connect your Hatch Baby. An HOUR of becoming a networking master and I figured it out

I’ve watched the videos, read the instructions it came with and found the user manual. I refuse to connect with support because this shouldn’t be an issue. I plugged the Hatch Baby into an outlet right next to our router and the bottom button (have pressed it, held it, waited several second intervals) won’t put it into sync mode so the Hatch app picks it up. Any experiences from ya’ll on how to be successful with syncing this thing to the app would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

In the new Lichess app, is the opening name no longer shown in the analysis screen? It used to identify openings like the Stafford Gambit or Queen’s Pawn Game.

I checked out the analysis board after games and played with settings. Can’t find this feature, was it removed?

Jabra Elite 75t Eargel Replacement Recommendation?

Found a few online that seem like they’d fit, wanted to post quick and see if anyone has any they’d recommend.

ChatGPT called out Spinfit, AZLA and Comply Truegrip Pro as viable replacements. Haven’t even checked if they’re in production or not.

Thanks for reading and any input or guidance! Have a great long weekend!!

Identification & Game Plan Assistance for a Lawn Care Beginner (Learning as I Go!)

We recently removed a long row of arborvitaes along one side of our property (and still have the other side waiting… one project at a time 😅). In hindsight, I made the rookie mistake of focusing entirely on getting everything cleared without having a plan for what came next. Nature wasted absolutely no time taking advantage of that oversight.

As the great Jeff Goldblum said in Jurassic Park: “Life… uh… finds a way”

I’m kicking myself for not planning ahead but am trying to focus on learning how to handle this properly rather than dwell on my error.

A little background: this is my first time being responsible for lawn care on a 0.66-acre property, and it’s a one-man operation. I don’t come from a family of green thumbs, so I’m starting from square one. I’m trying to learn how to identify plants, understand what’s invasive versus what’s simply aggressive, and build good habits instead of blindly spraying everything in sight.

After some googling and a back-and-forth with Claude (with the understanding that AI can absolutely be wrong about plant identification), the current guesses are:
Virginia creeper
Oriental bittersweet
American pokeweed
Field/Hedge bindweed

I’m located in Rhode Island and am on the water, if that helps with identification 🤷‍♂️

Based on everything up to this point, here is the first iteration of a game-plan -

  1. Make an initial, targeted application using either Bonide Brush Killer BK-32 or Ortho GroundClear Poison Ivy & Tough Brush Killer, carefully spot-spraying individual plants on a warm, dry day with no rain in the forecast before or after application.

  2. Wait about a week to evaluate what’s actually affected, then follow up on anything still standing with either a glyphosate concentrate (such as Roundup) or possibly a triclopyr/2,4-D broadleaf product (no real reason for this one other than it’s what Claude called out), depending on what remains.

Does any of this sound reasonable??? What’s good, and where are my opportunities??? Are the plant identifications even correct???

If bringing in a professional for an initial cleanup is the smarter move before I take over maintenance myself, I’m certainly open to it, just didn’t want to jump to that without some form of input.

Please go easy on me! I’m very much in the “crawl before you walk” stage of learning all of this. My goal is to understand what I’m doing rather than just throwing chemicals at the problem or paying someone indefinitely.

Any advice, corrections, educational resources, or words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and cheers!

Comps for the 25-26 Chrome Cosmic Haliburton Propulsions don’t make sense… any input on value?

Never had a 1/anything card so that’s pretty cool… but the gold selling for more than the orange??

/50 golds are listed at 1:1,331 and /25 orange is listed at 1:2,662. This orange pull rate is a hell of a long shot but could this eBay listing have just slipped by everyone and maybe it just didn’t get any exposure? I figured it’d be more in the $200-$250 range at least, given difficulty to pull it but maybe Haliburtons stock is a bit dull at the moment?

Please note - I didn’t watch basketball growing up, nor do I now. This is a cool product so I’ve started to get into it. Anything you know about basketball and/or Haliburton that you might think is ‘common knowledge’ is more than likely unknown to me. I’m just looking to learn a bit more about things. Thanks for reading!

Discovered these 3 with a bunch of Pokemon & MTG in the depths of my parent’s basement

Don’t really remember buying much Yu-Gi-Oh, although I remember loving the show and the PS2 game. Their condition isn’t half bad at all!

I’ve not really had many boosters, I’ve taken care of them when I had them so I haven’t seen the plastic get warped. Are all these imperfections within the range of expected wear and tear on Pokemon center booster boxes??
