Coglin Gladiator of Dith, XL10, currently on D:10. I was initially going for dual polearms but found a nice randart morningstar, so my current weapons are +4 trident (drain), and +9 morningstar {drain, ^Contam rElec rC+ rN+}. Level 11 in polearms, nothing invested in M&F thus far. Just found the +3 buckler of Soft Rains {Slay+6} and wondering whether to use it. No SH skill thus far either. If I use the shield, which weapon do I choose? The morningstar is good for the resistances, but obviously all my skill points are in polearms. If it weren't for the Slay+6, I wouldn't consider it.

Six pairs of boots on D1 and D2 combined, including a +1 pair and a pair with Stealth brand. Bring your Poltergeists!
EDIT: I'm actually playing on 0.34.0, sorry (can't edit the title). Perhaps the minor version doesn't make a difference anyway.
Just started a game and before clearing D:2, I have already found SIX pairs of boots, including a pair at +1, and a pair with Stealth brand. My character is a Naga.
Played the game years ago (must have been not long after its release) and for some reason it didn't click with me, despite me being a huge fan of Dishonored and Deus Ex. I feel like I'm now ready to revisit what trustworthy people call the masterpiece of the genre; wish me luck.
Post got removed from r/PS5 because they don't want people asking for game recommendations, so here I am. As an alternative to the below, compelling reasons to stick with Mac are welcome (M1 Max). Favourites in addition to this mentioned below include the Dishonored and Deus Ex games, and the Watch Dogs series.
Played my PS5 to death starting in 2020/21: Cyberpunk 2077, No Man’s Sky, Death Stranding, GTA V, RDR2, etc. Then about a year ago I bought a decent MacBook Pro, and around the same time started to fall out of love with my PS5 game catalogue. Since then I’ve been gaming on the Mac, mostly BG3 but recently getting started with ESOnline. Was about ready to sell the PS5 but fired it up today for another look, and realised I missed some things about it. What’s a compelling recent-ish game that you think might reel me all the way back in?

Autumn Katana is in a Bailey accessed from (I believe) D:8. There's a nice pair of randart boots in there too (+2 pair of boots of Jigsaw {Regen+ Dex+5}), and a manual of long blades a couple of levels prior.
Since r/dcss_seeds has gone post-by-request again, here's an interesting start for a shapeshifter.

Lying on the ground on D1:
b - a sanguine talisman
f - a dragon-coil talisman
EDIT: there are quill and rimehorn talismans on D:2 as well.
Playing on Mac via Steam, with a PS5 controller attached via USB. Since a recent update, the controller is no longer found on the launcher screen, regardless of whether I select native or Steam-mapped mode (can’t remember the exact name, sorry). I just can’t get used to the game with mouse and keyboard. Any tips for getting the controller to work would be much appreciated, thanks.
I don't normally do well with Demonspawn, or with casters. But this game feels good so far, and I could do with some advice on strategy going forward.
It's a seeded game, but the first time I played the seed I died after <50 turns, so I have no idea what's coming.
I think my approach for the next phase (i.e. Lair and Orc) would ideally centre around Ignite Poison, but I haven't found it yet. I also need to clear some spell slots, but I haven't found a scroll of amnesia.
Am also aware my resists are unbalanced, e.g. lack of rFire and rNeg.
What else should I be thinking about? Thanks in advance.
