I just watched Project Hail Mary and oh my god, it was incredible. I cried through at least half of the movie, Rocky was just way too adorable. The moment that almost destroyed me emotionally was when Grace realized Rocky would die alone, with no one there to help him, and wouldn’t even understand what the problem was. But I’m completely satisfied with the ending.

I’m usually not a big sci-fi fan and I went into it expecting a pretty boring movie since I knew absolutely nothing about it, I didn’t know there was a book, didn’t know the author, nothing at all. But I was so wrong. I totally didn’t expect it to be that emotional for me.

Now I really want to read the book.

I recently finished reading Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo and Mein zweites Leben by the woman the first book was about. Are there any other books like those, especially autobiographies or memoirs about drugs, addiction, or life in Germany during different time periods?

Would appreciate your recommendations!
