Belmont Pines Dr. Joseph Bethuy Sexual Abuse Investigation

An Ohio pediatrician who practiced at Belmont Pines Hospital, in Youngstown, Ohio, permanently lost his medical license in March 2026 following allegations involving juvenile patients.

According to the Ohio State Medical Board, multiple victims reported abuse by Dr. Joseph Bethuy through Belmont Pines Hospital’s own internal grievance system between 2019 and 2021. The Board later alleged that Belmont Pines medical director Dr. Phillip Maiden failed to report those complaints.

Medical Board records describe allegations involving three juvenile patients over a span of years. Despite police investigations, Bethuy was never criminally charged in connection with the allegations.

An Ohio doctor who held a medical license since 1984 permanently lost his ability to practice medicine as of March 2026, following allegations involving juvenile patients at Belmont Pines Hospital in Youngstown, OH.

According to the Ohio State Medical Board, Dr. Joseph Bethuy was accused of sexual abuse of three juvenile patients over the span of nine years.

Despite police investigations, Bethuy was never criminally charged for the alleged abuse, and the cases were closed.

Dr. David Vargas Lowy Sexual Abuse Investigation

FYI for anyone who may have taken their children to this guy. There were complaints about him for years, dating back to 2020. He just got his license suspended for the 3rd time, and he is currently facing 8 criminal charges. He had an office in Manchester, NH and also in Boston.

OB-GYN Dr. Fred Teichman Sexual Abuse Allegations

For decades, Dr. Fred Teichman was a well-known obstetrician and gynecologist in Pennsylvania, where he owned and operated Central Penn Women’s Health.

Dr. Teichman held hospital privileges at Evangelical Community Hospital in nearby Lewisburg and was also affiliated with Geisinger Medical Center.

Despite multiple reports of inappropriate behavior, a civil lawsuit alleging sexual misconduct, and a hospital investigation that revoked his privileges, Dr. Fred Teichman continued practicing privately for more than a decade.

He was never disciplined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine, and his medical license remained active until it expired on December 31, 2024.

The case against former Sarasota doctor Stephen A. Feig continues to expand.

In late April 2026, he was taken into custody again on an additional felony charge in the same case he was arrested for in 2025. He was also charged with misdemeanor battery back in 2024. He now faces three criminal charges across two separate cases.

Feig has been named in a civil lawsuit, and his licenses have been suspended or restricted in several states.

Still, Feig continues to promote his services online.
