As a LS main I was wondering what people think about who we play best with in multiplayer hunts.

For example Bow + DBs for the fact that they both have a similar counter dodge and probably the highest DPS.

All mains, who would you say you pair up with best in multiplayer hunts and who you don’t pair up too good with?

Just a general discussion to see what people think/have experienced.

EDIT: Yes I run shock absorber in every build. I’m not a selfish prick lol

My first MH was World and I mained LS from start to finish. In Wilds I started on LS but then went through a number of weapons and considered my self a GS main. But once again I’ve been drawn back to LS I fucking love it especially in Wilds.

Anyway I’m excited to see what the brace booster is gonna do to it! And the fact they’re adding attacks/combos outside of the bracer has got me even more hyped.

I’m excited to see what it does to all the weapons to be honest. What are you hoping the boost bracer does for your weapon??

I know now with it being base end game is probably the best time to learn any new weapons as all the changes/tweaks will have been done. With that being said I’m interested in Hammer so was just wondering where it’s at right now?

Do the Hammer bros approve of it being and engaging weapon to play in regard to gameplay loop, satisfaction etc. I quite like big damage numbers and I’m guessing Hammer would have that. (Coming from a GS main)

And insight/motivation to get in to Hammer will be appreciated!

Lance main’s, your weapon is 1 of 4 that I haven’t touched at all. Considering I played Gun Lance and loved it I’m guessing I’d enjoy Lance too. I hardly ever see people use it when joining sos hunts and I always wonder why.

Just looking for a bit of insight/motivation to give it a go. Why do you main Lance, Lance gang

I only use elemental phials on SwAxe and was wondering is power prolonger necessary? I keep seeing that it’s only necessary on power phials but surely up-time is up-time regardless of it being elemental phials.

Also is rapid morph worth it?

Just seeing if I can slot in anything different if I don’t need said 2 skills

For so long I had zero interest in SnS for the simple fact that I felt it was a boring, low damage, basic weapon…

I’ve “mained” DBs, LS, CB, GS, Bow and G’Lance and I am SO GLAD that I already got to use these weapons before experiencing SnS because FK ME! That weapon is TONS of fun! & I genuinely don’t think I’ll be able to go back to another weapon 😭

So many times I’ve seen SnS mains stating that they literally had to force themselves to put it down and choose another weapon and I was like “REALLY?!” 🙄

It’s got to the point now, where I find myself only joining SoS hunts that have SnS players in there 😭 the dopamine hit hunting with this weapon alone is crazy but when there’s 2 or 3 other SnS hunters present. It’s a feeling words can’t describe! Seeing the non-stop slaughter and readjusting 🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾

As it stands, post TU4.5 what is the best optimal shelling to go for on GL?

Recently picked up the GL and I’m loving it… hoping to master it enough to become a main!

Quick question. Am I right in saying the god roll for GL is 4Atk 1Shrp? And would 3Atk 2Shrp or 3Atk 1Elem/Aff & 1Shrp suffice (I’m not trying to speedrun)..

And off the back of that, AFAIK the gogma attack focus is best for GL but should I be aiming to make a Gog GL for each element? E.g. Drag, Ice, Thunder etc

Is HH a good secondary to have being a Bow main in regard to stamina buffs?

I usually carry two Bows, but with dragon pretty much being a decent match up for all except arkveld, I’m thinking to ditch the second Bow and swap in HH (which I’d have to learn 1st)
