Hello Nintendo family! I bought this yesterday and it’s just been delivered today. I’m super excited to get in to this game as I’ve heard nothing but positive things about it.

PLUS..

I’ve never ever played a single Zelda game in my entire life! This will be the first time!

Just thought I’d share this with the community!

EDIT: Sorry, forgot to mention I also have Mario Odyssey but didn’t get round to completing it.

I joined the Switch2 family a few months ago and I’m guessing my future self saw Sony’s absolute shenanigans of an announcement lol.

I had an absolute blast on DK Bananza! Loved it from start to finish, what a game! & I enjoyed Mario Kart World but got bored VERY quick like I knew I would.

I’ve not played it since February cause I’ve been playing nothing but MH Wilds on PS5 which I absolutely love, but I want to get back in to my Nintendo!

I’ve literally bought 2 AmFilm screen protectors today and ordered some joycon grips because the cramp I remember getting from handheld mode wasn’t pleasant. So yeah I’m just looking for some game recommendations from my Nintendo family.

Side note.. would you believe me if I told you that I’ve never played a single Zelda game in my entire life. (Grill me here lol)

TL;DR want to get back in to my Nintendo and I’m looking for some game recommendations.

I’ve done this hunt with many weapons but my fastest time has been 12:47 with Bow.

I’m super happy to of gotten sub 13’ (2 seconds to spare lol) with Lance! This took me a goooood few attempts. It became muscle memory on what counters to use after each attack, and when to not use them at all!

I quit many times cause I already knew I’d been hit too many times or especially carting, as that is a good 20 seconds or so, travelling back to Ark (FRUSTRATING) lol.

The next goal is to shave off another minute and enter the 11’ realm with Lance 😭

Now to build the fully optimised Dragon Lance. I WILL NOT be rolling for both Gore/Soul on my other elemental Lances cause that shit takes the piss lol.

Gore only will do as they’ll just be my generic versions of my optimised build.

As a very proud new Lance main I’m looking for a high DPS build yet still have some comfort skills like sharpness and maybe guard or guard up.

Does anyone have some recommendations on builds that will meet this criteria? Or that you use yourself?

I’ve had a look on YouTube but a lot of them are immortal builds which I don’t need. You can’t cart with Lance as it is lol. Or a lot of them run no sharpness skills at all on some meta bs.

TL;DR I’m looking for a good DPS Lance build but still with good sharpness. I don’t need meta min max stuff that loses all comfort skills.

What a weapon. I’ve been playing Wilds since it released last year and not once did I ever think I would pick up the Lance… Now I can’t put it down!

It truly is the most aggressive weapon in the game (in my opinion). Constantly glued to the monster and punishing every single attack it decides to throw at you. I’ve mained G’Lance and thought to myself “there’s no way I could main Lance with the absence of the BOOMS”, boy was I wrong.

I’m so hyped to see what the “Boost Bracer” brings for it and also the new attacks/combos outside of that. But honestly, just give me more damage and I’m SET!

But does anyone know the name of the instrumental? Or any other artists rapping on it?

Personally there is just nothing more satisfying than hitting the perfect ISS. Not a scratch of health gone. R.i.P to the fellow LS main trying to escape 😭)

Just about cleared it with 19 seconds to spare, I’ll take it! I missed a luring pod shot too and had to chase that motherfucker back to his lightning pit lol.

Genuine question though. If you get an A does that automatically get you the B and C pendant?

This is in a random SOS hunt.

I proc the paralysis with a TCS, another hunter does an off-set at the exact same time which looks crazy! Then a chain break! And then yes 😭 the rest is history!

I don’t know if you can experience this type of dopamine moment with any other weapon. Maybe a synchronised 4 hunter CB S.A.E.D? Or a 4 hunter SwAxe Full Release!

Either way this is beautiful!
