How did the EV transition in Norway actually go?

So I've been reading a lot about Norway lately and the EV transition there genuinely fascinates me. Going from basically nothing to majority electric in about 10 years is pretty remarkable.

I'm from Croatia and things are moving here too, more and more EVs and hybrids on the road, but there's still a lot of skepticism around going fully electric. The arguments you hear are always the same ones: range drops badly in winter, charging outside cities is still sparse, if you live in an apartment you're stuck, the grid can't handle it at scale.

Curious how much of that actually played out in Norway. was there a period where charging was genuinely a hassle or did infrastructure more or less keep up? And the winter range thing, does it actually affect your daily life or is it one of those things that sounds scarier than it is once you're used to it?

Apartments specifically I'd love to hear about because that one seems like a structural problem that's hard to work around.

And the last question, do you think Norway switched this fast because EVs were genuinely better and cheaper to own, or mainly because the taxes on petrol cars made the choice kind of obvious financially? Do you regret anything?

Asking because I'm trying to figure out which concerns are legitimate and which ones people just stop worrying about after a few months of owning one.
