I think my best friend is only using me

I met my best friend in 2019 and the reason we connected so deeply was because of the same interests and circumstances. Both only childs stuck with parents who don't like each other. Both liked politics and other things.

We both loved each to death and considered each other as sisters

I'm 18 and she's 23ish

Eventually, life happened. My friend started dating some guys. I was / still am very clear on this, that I don't want to date until I'm done with my academics. My friend seems to think I have no life for that reason.

Anyways, none of her relationships / situationships ?) worked and her most recent breakup was in March, the whole thing lasted 15 days btw.

And my friend has been venting to me ever since and I do listen to her but a few days ago I told her that she is a beautiful person both in & out and she will find someone. She got mad at me and started complaining that I'm not polite. Then we stopped talking until she said lets forget abt this.

I told her yesterday that a doctor suggested me to take some stress relieveing tablets. This is the second time that a doc took a note on my mental health. One other suggested me some anti depressants. I told this to her and she immediately downplayed it and said "thats what they do. They only know how to suggest meds". I tried to discuss with her that maybe I have adhd and she cut me off short again started venting abt her breakup.

I don't even know if this friendship is beyond repair now. I have no interest in her break up vent. I feel I'm a bit selfish for it but she always dismiss me. I had some issues last month and she told me that I have no life and started talking about how her breakup is far worse. She said this to me when she got mad at me a few days ago too. I mean I understand that a breakup hurts a lot probably but that doesn't mean single people don't have any issues?

Honestly, she has supported me in the past like a true friemd but has changed ever since her breakup but Idk if its just a phase. I think she is treating me as her personal chatgpt.

Learn about auto filters before accusing the mods

A lot of people resort to accusing mods of mischief when their contributions are removed. Some resort to takifirng too. This behaviour is explicitly forbidden in Islam.

It seems that many people are not aware of how this site works.

Many comments and posts are filtered out a) automod, b) reddit itself. They have to be approved manually. Auto features quite helpful & an integral part of reddit moderation but they are automated / based on ai, they can aid us but can't replace humans. Its common for them to not work properly. While the automod usually does inform the users that it has remobed their content, Reddit's auto filters do not.

Mods have to manually approve a lot of things, along with removing hateful that it missed (which is a LOT in the case of our sub).

Moderation is not a job. Mods all are volunteers. You guys can use the mod mail feature to complain about trolls and ask us to review your contribution.

Please be patient with us mods, resorting to takifiring or putting other allegations of deliberate mismanagement is not appropriate.

Let me be clear : ALL MODS ARE INDIAN MUSLIMS. PERIOD.

You can disagree with us without accusing us of being anything else.

My friend had a breakup in March and she has been depressed since then but she is more depressed these days because as she told me, she fucked up presentation cus she was missing him. She further said she is not able to focus on her acamdemics because of missing him.

Now this was a bit serious. Usually, when she rants I always act hella performative because I'm aware that she doesn't like being told to stay positive (?) and all that.

I asked her how long did her relationship last and she said 15 days 💀

At first I tried to tell my friend to be patient. I told her maybe he will re contact her again after exams but she said no he won't. So then I told her to move on.

Now my friend got mad at me because "its not easy"
But is being depressed (her own words) easy? She also started telling me that I'm being insensitive to her because I never had a relationship which is true. And she is still extremely upset and angry at me.

BUT, I can still use my common sense? I have other friends who have gone through that.

Am I the asshole?

Feeling tired / exhausted in calorie deficit

I need 1.8k calories to maintain my current weight. I eat around 1.2k calories, weight loss has been extremely slow but I'm feeling extremely tired and exhausted all day. I can't exercise. This is weird to me because I tried calorie deficit in 2024 and it worked for me quite well without making me feel tired all day.
