I have 4 years of experience as a React Native developer and joined a new company about 3 months ago.
Recently, I found out there are no React Native projects available. My manager suggested I learn Flutter, FastAPI, or Data Engineering and get assigned based on business needs.
I’m not against learning new technologies, but I’m unsure if this is the right move for my career or if I should start looking for another company where I can continue growing as a React Native developer.
If you were in my position, what would you do? Have any of you gone through something similar?

I’m 25 years old, work in IT, and can save around ₹1 lakh per month.

I’m looking to build a secondary income stream alongside my full-time job. I’m not interested in stocks or trading, and I’d prefer something that doesn’t require building a personal brand or being publicly visible.

I can take reasonable risks and have a long-term mindset. If you were in my position today, what would you focus on to create an additional income stream?
