Tried TASMAC online ordering at Shop #4498. It works, but the staff clearly hate it

Tried the new TASMAC online ordering at Elite Shop #4498 and honestly, more people should use it. You can check stock and price beforehand, pay digitally, pick up and leave. It could genuinely help reduce the usual extra-MRP and cash nonsense, and make buying much easier for women too.

But the staff reaction was revealing.

When I collected my order, I got the stink eye, though they processed it quickly because some younger customers nearby noticed the online pickup and were curious about it.

My girlfriend had a much worse experience. She was checking the expiry date on a beer and they yelled at her. She clarified that she wasn't putting it in her bag, just checking the date. They then said in Tamil, essentially: "Then stop ordering online. You want to order online and also expect the stock to be good? You can't have both."

We also overheard them discussing how online ordering needs to stop and talking about manipulating stock availability to push customers back toward offline cash purchases.

That is exactly why people should use the portal more, not less.

The system itself works. The problem seems to be resistance from people who benefited from the old opaque system. If enough customers use online ordering, accurate stock, fixed pricing and digital transactions become much harder to avoid.

Posting this because adoption still seems very low. Use the portal. Don't let a genuinely useful transparency measure die because some shops don't like being accountable.

Delhivery kept my perishable food at the Chennai delivery station for 9 days while support sent copy-paste replies

I need to rant because this has gone far beyond an ordinary delivery delay.

I ordered Gud Thekua and Namak Para from MomsMade. The parcel reached Delhivery’s final delivery station in Chennai, but they kept it there for nine days without delivering it. These were perishable food items. At this point, the contents are obviously spoiled.

I followed up almost every day through their chat, email, X, and the seller. Delhivery kept replying with the same generic lines:

“Your shipment is being prioritised.”

“The relevant team has been informed.”

“It will be delivered as soon as possible.”

What does “as soon as possible” even mean after nine days at the final station? Why could they not deliver it a week earlier? Why was it not sent out last Friday? Why can nobody provide a specific delivery date, the name of the person handling the escalation, or proof of the claimed delivery attempts?

They took two days just to tell me that a delivery had supposedly been attempted. Nobody called me or came to the address. I have my call records and repeatedly asked them to provide the delivery agent’s call logs, GPS records, timestamps, and proof of visit. They ignored the questions and sent another template.

The seller also initially claimed they could not trace the order, even though Delhivery’s own WhatsApp message clearly showed the merchant name, recipient, and AWB. Only after repeated escalation did someone from MomsMade speak to me.

I have also had a terrible experience with Shadowfax in Chennai. They delayed an important Tata 1mg medicine delivery by nearly a week. During one call, the delivery person cut the call and told me in Tamil, “Buy your medicines in your state.” I experienced that as openly racist and discriminatory. A customer should not be denied basic service or insulted because they are perceived to be from another state.

I am not saying every delivery worker in Chennai behaves this way. I am talking about the specific people involved in these incidents and the companies that apparently do not audit them. When agents submit questionable updates, refuse to deliver food or medicine, cut calls, or speak to customers this way, what consequences do they face?

The real problem is that these companies appear to have no functioning escalation process. Customer support sends automated apologies, the local hub remains unreachable, the seller blames the courier, and the customer is left chasing everyone until the product is spoiled or no longer useful.

Has anyone here faced the same issue with Delhivery or Shadowfax in Chennai? Is there any reliable way to reach the local hub or an actual operations manager instead of another chatbot response?

"Not Interested" button is dead. Meta algorithm is completely broken and forcing polarizing content down my throat. How do I actually hard reset this?

Hey everyone, I am losing my mind with my Instagram feed and need actual, technical solutions because the basic fixes are absolutely not working.

Lately, my feed and Reels have been completely hijacked. It is pushing nothing but highly specific, intensely polarizing political drama (specifically a massive flood of Nepal 2.0 narrative content targeted at India). It feels like it happened overnight. The Meta feed itself is a literal proof of many things. It is clearly funded by the deep state to force-feed this stuff.

I literally watched CJP make his first post, in its origin days—not about education, just something else. Some NRI influencers I follow because of their cute content never went political, even when the RG Kar rape case happened and the post-election violence of West Bengal went down. He is a Bengali and he strictly stuck to his sketches. But then suddenly, after one post, he started doing political posts out of absolutely nowhere and started mentioning that youth should leave india and foreign forces should meddle (i got scared).

I am a subject matter expert in computational geometry and usually rely on specialized spaces like a CAD geometry Indian group for technical solutions, but even my usual internet sanctuaries are being flooded by cockroach posts that get hundreds of upvotes in minutes. Top 1% contributors writing anything get downvoted by the speed of light. Call me crazy, but being a Bengali, my nose is highly sensitive to the rotten fishy smell of something being completely off here.

I have tried everything to fight the algorithm. I don't just hit the "Not Interested" button (which isn't working at all). I actively, forcefully go out of my way to open Nike shoe reviews just to try and force my feed to populate with sneakerhead content. It does nothing. The feed refuses to shift.

Has anyone actually successfully broken a hard-locked algorithm loop like this when the built-in UI buttons fail? Do I need to completely purge my account cache, deactivate for a week, or is there a deep setting I am missing? Treat me like a gone case, I just need a clean feed back.
