So, I recently wrote my first proper Polytrix one-shot, and mostly like how it turned out. However, with even less than 2k words, I noticed something: it was extremely unbalanced in the sense that Zoey was barely in it. She complimented Rumi a few times, but the main focus of the one-shot was on Rumi and Mira as Zoey did her own thing.

And thinking about it, most Polytrix ideas/scenarios I have or have written (platonically) involve Mira and Rumi together having tough or intense conversations. Or even just…normal or flirty conversations. But Zoey is often largely absent from their meaningful scenes, or when she is there, she’s praising or comforting Rumi with Mira or other characters. Nothing really feels uniquely her.

I think that part of this may be because I find Zoey the least interesting of the three women. I don’t hate her, I just don’t really ever have an interest in writing from her POV.

All that is to say: does anyone have advice for balancing interactions and the like between the three, specifically to include Zoey without making her seem OOC? (Cause like, having hard conversations isn’t her thing, really.)

What could they be doing?

I finally completed my first multi-chaptered kpdh fanfic, and decided to crosspost it here, to anyone interested!

Summary:

It's been weeks since the Idol Awards, weeks since the world almost ended, weeks since Rumi begged--demanded--that Celine kill her as the Honmoon fell apart around them.

Celine has never felt more isolated, texts and calls to Rumi, Mira, and Zoey ignored. She's far more familiar with the bottom of a bottle of liquor then she is with this new era, the new Honmoon, the new philosophy and attitude that Huntrix ushered in and created.

Until a single text pings on her phone.

Speaking of which, given Mi-yeong caught Celine’s eye and Rumi’s dad’s eye, she was clearly “everyone’s type,” too.

I hope that made sense. Basically, when only two of the three girls are shipped together, what does/do you think the other girl has in terms of relationships? I’ve seen a small amount of Rujinu + Zoemira works, but they are quite rare, and I’ve seen zero Rumira + Zoestery or Zoerumi + Miromabby/Mirabby/Miromance content.

Basically, I am just curious what happens to that third girl in your or others’ content, or even just headcanons.

Note: this is specifically asking people who ship one of the three ships above, NOT Polytrix shippers, who obviously ship all three together.
