Anyone got any blacked out/non rgb mAtx builds?
Need inspiration as I feel my build is missing something.
Throw them pictures at me.

Just sharing my two builds (his and hers), in the H3 Flow cases. They seem to really suit micro atx builds, and my one somehow could accommodate a 4080 still with great temps under load.
Brilliant cases apart from the dumb positioning of the power supply.
White: B550 Gaming X WiFi, R5 5600x, Corsair Nautilus LCD AIO, 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB 3000Mhz, RTX 3070ti, 750w Cooler Master.
Fans: NZXT 120mm RGB & NZXT 240 RGB core.
Built for 1080p, mostly white theme without paying the white tax.
Black: B550M Gaming X WiFi, R7 5800x, Corsair Nautilus AIO, 32GB Corsair Vengeance 3600Mhz, RTX 4080 FE, Corsair RM850x.
Fans: 2x Corsair RS140 MAX, 1x NZXT 120.
Built for 1440p (slight overkill admittedly on the gpu), no rgb theme.
Would love to see other builds with different themes, and appreciate any feedback as to what needs improving.
Ps. Forgive the placement of the black build. It was on top of an xbox box for testing, I guess asserting its dominance over the console.
Just a heads up if anyone wants a gpu upgrade.
It’s on Amazon Italy.
The cheapest you might see in a while probably.
Just over €711 with postage.
Was gonna go for it but found a 4080 that I like more.
Hi all.
Have a choice of going with a used 4080FE for €800, or a new 9070XT for €720.
I play on 1440p, mostly racing sims, plan to use some VR and will be buying a widescreen 1440p monitor soon.
Currently have a 3080 FE.
Which one would you guys go for?
I’m currently on AM4: 5800x, 32GB 3600Mhz RAM.
I like the look and feel of the FE cards, but it’s a tough choice here.
Hi all.
Just wondering if I could get some help pricing my card before I put it up for sale soon, as will be looking for an upgrade.
Things aren’t easy to judge, so wish to get some opinions from ye.
3080ti, Founders Edition, boxed, with all manuals and the power lead. In great condition.
Never mined on, seems to be a fairly rare card being the founders one, but I doubt that this fact is adding any value to it.
What would be a reasonable price?
What would be the best 1440p GPU for up to €1000?
I’ve found a few GPU’s that seem to fill this criteria, but deciding on one isn’t that easy.
Will be mainly playing triple a, lots of assetto, Cyberpunk, all sorts of Assassins Creed, zero competitive games. I like to turn up the details in games as much as it’s possible, but I realise that there is an element of diminishing return on “ultra”.
Will also want to try some VR in the nearest future for the driving games as I will be looking into buying bits for a drifting sim.
Contestants:
AMD-
7900XT/XTX
7800XT
9070XT
Nvidia-
5070/Ti
4080
4070Ti Super
Current specs:
R7 5800x
32GB 3600mhz
PSU RM 850x
Any input appreciated.
Hi all.
Just. A quick question for anyone who might know.
Where would be the best place to buy founders edition RTX 4000 or 5000 series cards (new)?
Anywhere online I look it’s only card from AIB’s that are being sold.
Is second hand the only way to obtain one?
I have a 3080ti and 3070ti both founders that I will be looking at upgrading this year, but would like to stick to the look of the founders if possible.
Hi all.
Considering one of the above cars as a weekend car.
Just wondering if anyone had any experience with these cars. What are they like maintenance wise? Are bits easy to get still or have to import from Germany or something?
I am good with working on my own cars, have a garage, and have some experience with older german cars and the headaches they can cause.
Just wondering would these old mercs be any different/better?
And another question.
Is it worth bringing one of them over from England? Is the VRT really only €200?
Hi all.
I’m playing mostly 1440p, no path tracing but trying to use like the highest settings in games. I play mostly triple a titles, some sim racing etc, none of the competitive stuff at all.
Still on AM4, running a 5800x and 32GB ram (3600mhz), and considering upgrading my good old brute of a 3080ti founders due to the unfortunate vram limitation. It’s not too bad yet, but I can see it slowly starting to struggle once you crank some settings up or even consider running games on 4k (I play on a tv).
Would also like to start playing around with VR a bit and this card may not suffice?
Was looking at these on the used market:
7900xt (€550)
7900xtx (€750)
9070xt (€700)
4070ti super (€800)
Which one would you all go for given those choices?
Also open to any other suggestions of cards, but wouldn’t want to spend more than €800 if possible.
Hi all. We have a his and hers setups. I play on 1440p, she plays 1080p.
She currently has a 3070ti Founders. While it seems to be chugging along grand so far, I realise it may soon need an upgrade.
There in lies the question. What would be a reasonable upgrade if she wishes to stay at 1080p? We would be looking to sell her card and add some money on top, so call it a 5-600 budget. Mainly looking to get away from the 8GB VRAM curse.
Not to mention she’s running an R5 3600, so may potentially be bottlenecking a newer card?
Was looking at RTX 4070/5070, or a 9060xt.
No competitive games at all, we have zero interest in them. Mostly AAA, story games etc.
Hi all. Is it only me that feels this titles reviews are horribly undeserved (10/10, really…)? Maybe the whole handholding thing is not for me, but I think this is one of the only actually honest reviews out there.
Just had to post this. Couldn’t believe my eyes, someone got their moneys worth here. Nice to see someone not looking at their mileage and just maintaining their car for a change. If it still has its original lump under the bonnet that is.
But realistically, who’s going to buy this now?
