What are the parallels you want to see between Radhi-Reena with S1 in S3

Okay guys hotstar made a cute post. Wanted to share it here. I want Reena to feel what having a mother is like. The warmth, care, protection and love that she has yearned for all these years. What are yours and do you have any particular scene?

One scene is I want Radhi to prepare Reena's favourite prawn biryani by openly admitting that she has done for her. I also want a scene where Reena falls sick and Radhi takes care of her actively.

Thoughts on Oona's subplot

Though Oona comes across as this cool and confident girl, I actually find her side of the story the saddest.

Her father abandoned her, and her mother doesn't seem to care much about their existence either. So she grows up without either of her parents really being a source of stability or emotional support.

Oona is basically forced into becoming a parent to Maple which she happily does, even though she is still a kid herself. She has to take responsibility for someone else when she should have been the one being taken care of.

And I feel like all of this explains why she is avoidant-attached with people. Deep down, I think Oona is terrified that people will eventually leave her. She has already experienced abandonment from the people who were supposed to be there for her, so she probably expects it to happen again.

That's also how I interpret what happened with Ramona. I don't think Oona pushed her away because she didn't care. If anything, I think she cared too much. The moment she started feeling like there was even a slight possibility that Ramona might leave her, she panicked and pushed her away before it could actually happen.

It's almost like she'd rather be the one to leave first than stay and wait for someone else to abandon her. Poor thing lost the person she desired and she needed, yet again and honestly, that's what makes her character heartbreaking to me. She never really had anyone consistently take care of her.

At the end of the day, Oona is still a kid. And I think a lot of her seemingly careless or avoidant behavior makes much more sense when we look at it through that lens. Would be nice if the writers go deep into her side of story in Season 2.

Thoughts?

I noticed this in this song

In aaruyire mannipaya song from guru, there is this line, "ஐந்து புலன்களின்

அழகியே" which has all three type of laas. Lovely right? If you find anything like this please share.

PIKU - FIRST TIME WATCH

I want to have a healthy discussion about the film.

I loved Irfan and Deepika's chemistry. I loved their characterizations as well. I loved all of their scenes very much and scenes wherever Irfan appeared.

Almost everyone say that its their comfort film, but the movie didn't sit with me well, even though humor, cinematography etc, worked for me. I found Amitabh's character selfish and didn't recognise Piku's efforts to take care of him at all. I felt very empathetic and bad for Piku because it was frustrating to watch him throw tantrums everywhere for everything and actually she is very tolerant of him. So I kinda did not enjoy the film whole heartedly but only felt sad for Piku.

I want to understand the other perspective as well because when for majority it is a comfort film, why it is not for me.

Radhi-Reena coming face to face

We've been having some very serious discussions about the show since morning, so thought of having a chill discussion and here's a question:

How do you guys want Radhi and Reena to meet? How would you stage their first encounter?

Edit: Mine would be, Radhi visits Bangalore for a medical work or for some purposes not knowing Reena's whereabouts. Radhi faints or something in the likes of that happen and she is admitted in the hospital where Reena is working and that's how the universe brings them together.

A small rant

People need to understand that Radhi pushing away Reena from her did not come from hatred or dislike for Reena. She loved Reena so much but a bit lesser than the fear of the consequences she will be facing bec she only knows how much it took for her to comeback from an irreversible damage and trauma that happened in her life. And along with that, she is a family woman and we all know how much societal backlash will happen and their family might break. People didn't like Radhi bec she isn't the typical mom that we have been shown or experienced whereas Vijay was portrayed as the typical dad. She had maternal instincts but trauma bonding doesn't work like any other normal bonding. Yes, Radhi did make mistakes no doubt in that, Reena has all rights to fight with her but couldn't agree with the partiality because Vijay's parents clearly manipulated the whole situation, TR did whatever a single father would do to safeguard her girl. The only mistake Radhi did was she should've told Vijay and Reena sooner once she came to know about them.

>!The entire narrative shift that Radhi did an unforgivable sin is misleading. !<Radhi did not do any paavam. Vijay's parents should be held accountable. I've been screaming about this from the last season her mistakes are falsely exaggerated whereas her sacrifices and sufferings were toned down unlike Vijay's which is exactly the opposite.

Both Radhi and Vijay did mistakes in the past. Think of it this way, what if Vijay was a family man, could it be easy for him to introduce Reena to his family, even if it was not easy, he would've gotten away with it simply because he is a man.

So tired of this man. :(

Teju: The person who cared to see the human inside Radhi

More than saying nobody understood Radhi, it is the fact that nobody wanted to understand Radhi..except Teju. Extremely well written character for me in this entire series. I will miss her and the person being the reason behind missing her - Yoga. ❤️

Edit: This is about the characters that are not related to Radhi. Everyone either didn't get close to her cz of fear or judged her in one or the other way. Teju, Aruna and RK were the very few persons who saw her beyond the profession.

When Harmanpreet Kaur will give up captaincy?

Same as title. Isn't it unfair for the next generation players? I agree she gave us the world cup but we cannot keep playing her till the end of her life right. Decisions made prior to and throughout the t20 wc were not convincing. Her knock was fine yesterday, still has the ability to come as clutch but good player doesn't mean she can increase her captaincy tenure. She can still continue as a player until her body allows to. (I'm not a hater btw)

edit: Smriti deserves to captain the indian side especially in the ODIs, but considering her remaining age and tenure I don't think that's happening and I also don't want the same stretch from Mithali to Harman, Harman to Smriti and Smriti to someone else happen, but atleast pass on the t20 captaincy to her. Let her take time to build her own team.

Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi

I watched this show at various stages of my life. Teens, early 20s and now at 24. Right from the beginning I knew what Dev doing is wrong but I was perceiving him as a grey shade personality but no. Now when I did a rewatch, I started hating Dev. Shaheer was the one saving Dev’s character for me all these years and even he couldn’t help it for me this time. What a spineless, selfish and red flag character, they did not do a better justice to his redemption arc, and emphasising that there were mistakes in Sona’s side too where? Did I watch the same show or what? He never truly redeemed himself and makers did not call out enough of his hypocrisy. Sona deserved better.

Netravati Trek - My experience

Did Netravati trek last weekend. Loved every bit of it. The climate is misty and by the time we reached the peak it started to rain and you might not be able to see the view. But if you're a chill, rainy, misty type of climate lover give it a try.

Difficulty Level: I'm a beginner and I have a very sedentary lifestyle so but still I feel I was able to make it. I wouldn't say it was easy for me so it's moderate imo cz of the 2 kms steep where I was battling for breath. Descending is difficult than ascending as it is very slippery. Overall a nice experience.

With respect to pass and all it is suggested to go through a trustable travel agents cz heard that so many frauds are happening wrt forest permit. We travelled through an agent so didn't face any difficulty.

A beautiful experience overall

I don't think that the writers will do justice towards redemption and reunion or Radhi-Reena

Same as title. I feel much part of the show will be focusing on milking content out of Vijay-Reena, glorification of Vijay by demonizing Radhi, reunion of Arjun Reena and loads of fillers. They are not going to come out of the misogyny they built and give the redemption that Radhi deserves. So no hopes for me.

Mine - Smriti Mandhana

So there was a post in other sub of handsome male cricketers from female pov (female gaze basically) so I thought female gaze doesn't pertain only to male cricketers right hehehe and hence this post.

The most most most beautiful, pretty, cute and sometimes hot woman to ever exist on this entire planet I swear to godddd!!!

Most beautiful is the understatement. And by beautiful I meant she is beautiful inside out. The way she is an outstanding player and famous too but tries to stay grounded and modest stole my heart, kidney, brain everything. Futch queen for a reason. I love her sm wish she was not straight I can only wish god.

Who is yours? And pray for me that agle janam mein hum dono miley fml
