Let’s say Superman didn’t exist as a poster boy for superhero’s that fly and wear capes and some other character replaced him to fill that niche (Yes, I’m aware he will fall into the PD but that’s not what this post is about) What PD character or PD Superhero character, more specifically, could fit the role of someone swooping in to save the day and why would it be them?

I’m trying to come up with biology for an alien that has a humanoid like brain but with a different structures/possible functions. What are some semi realistic aspects of the human brain I could add onto that could do this for an intelligent lifeform? Could I add new hemispheres or lobes to it? If so what are some possible names you guys can think of? Are their abilities humans have now that could be altered and enhanced through evolution in regard to how the brain works?

What if Superman was hit with the Infinity Ray, the one gun powerful enough to kill a Viltrumite? Would it have any effect on him at all?

What if the Rift opened on the surface instead of beneath the Ocean? Would this change the story in anyway? Could they close it easier and prevent the monsters from attacking?

If modern man and technology is considered primitive by people of the future how would they classify the technology of the Stone Age, that is currently seen as primitive to us? Is there a scale for this?

What if Kong was irradiated like Godzilla on Skull Island when he was younger and received powers? How would this change the story of the Monster verse as a whole, assuming he doesn’t die?

So on Earth we are obviously all human. I don’t mean this in a racist way whatsoever let me make that totally clear: But let’s say some of us go to a foreign planet and they are African America, White, Indian, etc. Then billions of years go by and those humans evolve because science fiction. Does that mean the different races would still exist or would they solidify into a new one entirely? What would even classify someone as a new race of people? What if it was on multiple planets? Would the different humans still have racism on a global, or planetary level? Could humanity even branch off again, as we have seen before in evolution, into different branches altogether?

What if Homelander accepted Blindspot into the Seven to replace Translucent? What would the young hero think of the group? How would he possibly interact with their members?

Butcher gets thrown into the MCU and has resources from that universe. Would he be able, with help from the villians, to take on MCU’s Supes?

Although the magic systems may be different, given how powerful Gandalf really is, what would happen if he tried to Dream walk like Wanda or Dr. Strange did in the MCU, assuming that there is a multiverse in LOTR?

What if Steve Irwin raised Blue? Would she be treated differently? Would the dynamic of the pack change at all? Could he have also raised the Indominous Rex to be more stable in captivity?

What if Captain America had the personality of Solder Boy in the MCU? How would that change the universe as a whole?

What if Lex Luther had endo-sym armor? Would that change how powerful he is? Would it give him more of an upper hand in his conflicts with the heroes of DC? How would Superman feel about it?

So… Minor Spoiler and a few questions: V1 (the original), Compound V (modern), and Temp V (which wears off) all give people powers. How are the powers chosen for each individual? Do they change based on the type of Compound V? Are there other chases where individuals develop the exact same powers? This is excluding Butcher and Homelander’s fight, and the weaponized baby at the beginning of the show. If people did have the same powers wouldn’t that mean they are evenly matched and could have the same weaknesses?

So I’m trying to figure out how to name Aliens and other animals based on Speculative Evolution. Does anyone have any suggestions on this? It could be general terms or scientific ones. Like we call a frog, a frog but then it has a scientific/classification name as well.

I want to start off by saying this to everyone whose family/friends doubt this condition: You aren’t crazy and there is hope. Just hang in there and know you can have a support system here if you need one. Feel free to message me personally if need be. Now: onto the topic at hand: So great news guys! And something I wish for everyone on this page. My seizures have been gone for two full months after seeing my Neurophysiologist. Hooray! Awesome! Congrats! Top of the world… until now. Because my body used the seizures to manifest and cope with my anxiety and the seizures stopped, I’m just left with random anxiety that feels like it’s coming from nowhere. There are no real triggers or direct emotions for me to dig into. Nothing is bothering me. I just feel like my nervous system is in full reset panic mode multiple times a day now that the outlet is gone. Fear that the seizures will come back even though my brains rewired everything (I still have the auras but the doctor said it’s not an actual seizure itself just a reaction my body has) fear that something else is wrong with me health wise (heart disease runs in the family) and just being afraid in general for no reason. I also made the mistake of going cold turkey on my Lorazepam. When the seizures stopped I just stopped taking it. Never tapered off or anything. Now I’m stuck in this fluctuating scared mode on and off multiple times a day and have to act like it doesn’t bother me. Can anyone relate to this? Is this a common thing to happen during remission? Does it go away on its own? I’ve worked through everything to get my life back on track. Where is this coming from? I’m open to advice. Suggestions. Or just sharing your own stories if that will help improve your own journey to recovery.

What would humanity look like socially, politically, and economically as a type 1, 2, and 3 civilization on the Kardashev scale? What about Alien civilizations seen in popular works of science fiction? How would they fit into the scale? If they ran into humans would they be willing to help us go even further or would we be seen as too primitive?

I want to come up with characters that are basically intelligent space vampires that feed on a verity of beings, but is there a way to do that through hard sci-fi or at least sci-fi that seems less goofy? How would them feeding on different aliens affect the vampires do you think?
