Dentists or anyone who works in the dental field, how do I find a dentist I can actually trust? I’m looking for a new dentist and I want someone who will recommend treatment based on what I truly need, not just try to make money off of me. I understand that different dentists can sometimes have different opinions, but I’m trying to figure out what characteristics or green flags I should look for when choosing one. I may also need crowns, so I want to make sure I choose someone whose crown work is good and who won’t automatically recommend a crown if there’s a more conservative option that could work. Are there certain questions I should ask during the first appointment, things I should pay attention to when they explain X-rays or treatment, or any red flags that could suggest over-treatment? I’m not necessarily looking for the cheapest dentist, I just want someone who is honest, does good quality work, and who I can trust to tell me what I actually need.

Does anyone know a good dentist in Rockledge or nearby? I’m looking for someone who’s honest and won’t try to tell me I need a bunch of unnecessary work just for the money. I just want a dentist who will look at my teeth and tell me what I actually need done.

HSV-2 positive and have never had an outbreak (asymptomatic) or women who are dating or married to an HSV-2 positive man. Since women are at a higher risk of contracting HSV-2 from a male partner, I'm specifically hoping to hear about those experiences.

My boyfriend tested positive by blood test about two years ago and has never had an outbreak or any symptoms. We've been together for about a year, and I'd really love to hear from people who have been in a similar situation.

1. How long have you been together?
2. Do you use condoms every time, sometimes, or not at all?
3. Does he take daily antivirals?
4. If you're the female partner, have you remained HSV-2 negative, or did you eventually contract it?
5. If you did contract it, about how long into the relationship did it happen?
6. Overall, what has your experience been like?
