SO-OCD. social media

I’m lesbian, and I have been struggling with so-ocd for a while now and something that I always find makes it worse is when gay celebrities one day randomly date the opposite gender and it makes me think that I will be the same you know?

Anyone else relate?

Trans people are ruining pride

LGB not the whole TQ+ stuff. I’d love to go to pride if it wasn’t ruined by all the extreme woke 1000000+ gender people. I also feel embarrassed to tell people about my sexuality because I don’t want to be associated with trans people

For people who have or are finishing treatment how many years do you need scans after?

(17f) For me 10 years which I thought seemed like quite a bit as people I’ve met on wards said 5 years for them wbu?

Hello people just showing off my hair since finishing chemo 🫰🫰🫰

(I honestly absolutely despise it but I’m trying to force myself to like it so I can actually leave the house without being embarrassed 😭😭)

Post treatment depression

How to get over this? I feel like everything I do I just have this underlying sadness, or I just feel completely numb and am not motivated at all. ( I haven’t been to school for a while so I’m very lonely which doesn’t help)

My hair growth since chemo

I’ve posted this like 3 times now but the mods on different subs keep removing it 😭

Anyways I’m sooo happy and excited about my hair, ik it’s still short but I’m loving the growth🫰🫰

Port surgery

17F I’m having my port removed on Tuesday 🫣 kinda nervous to be honest, when it was being put in the sedative made me feel slighly loopy for a couple minutes but I was aware pretty much the entire time. I’m going on holiday a week and a day after 😂 (my doctor told me that it was okay to do so) so I hope it all goes well and no complications!

Hair

17f I’ve had 17 rounds of chemo and a kidney removal surgery, I lost all of my hair and it’s started to grow back now as I’ve finished treatment (and am now cancer free 🥳). How long did it take for your hair to start getting curly if you now have curly hair? I have a bit of length to it now and I’m not sure if it’s at the point where you’d know if you’re gna have curly hair or not yk?
When my sister had cancer and her hair started growing back hers was super curly so I wasn’t sure if I would too as I’m not sure if genetics have anything to do with it 🤷‍♀️

Not sure how to feel

17F recently finished my 17th round of chemo and am cancer free 🫰. I have regular scans ofc and was told I have issues with my uterus and ovaries which will massively affect my chances of having children. I found this out on the same day I found out my most recent scan was clear and tbh I’ve been pretty down ever since, ofc I’m overjoyed to be cancer free but I honestly can’t feel good about anything after finding out that news as it’s my dream to have a child. Anyways me and my friend got into a bit of an argument today about it as I found out more news from my doctor earlier on today and my friend doesn’t think I should be moping around when apparently this doesn’t even affect me rn. And that I should be happy there’s still a chance I can have kids even if it’s low… don’t get me wrong I am happy I don’t have cancer anymore but I’m finding it really hard to be positive about anything at the minute, and she keeps saying I’m just being miserable for no reason. I might be overreacting right now but it’s really starting to piss me off tbh and I’ve said so many times she can’t have an opinion on something she hasn’t been through and has no idea what it’s like yk?

I don’t know what else I’m supposed to say to her because she says she’s being nice and that I should just be positive but I hate it when people tell me how I should feel about something and her response to that was “ like yeah but I’m right” 😭😭

17F pregnancy complications for future?

Im 17, have just finished 17 rounds of chemo + 2 surgery (and am cancer free now) so I have scans every 3 months. Just was told I have polycystic ovaries (not syndrome) and a septate uterus. Anyone with either of those things have any complications with pregnancies??

(+unsure if my chemos effected my fertility yet but based off of those two things how likely is it that I can’t have children)
