EV or PHEV for condo living/no home charger?

Okay hear me out, at first i thought the obvious answer was the PHEV.

But i drive roughly 100-200km a week mostly city driving, so if the PHEV has only 100km electric battery range , ill be charging up about twice a week.

Compared to a full EV where if i get one with 500km, it will be closer to twice month. Much less of a hassle.

Ofcourse the PHEV has the advantage of running on gas, but if i’ll end up using gas most of the time, why not get a traditional hybrid?

Any advice?

How to answer questions for the Bar?

I’ve managed to get by law school with the catch all “under the law”.

And if I’m particularly confident, the most ill do is say “under the civil code/RPC” or “under jurisprudence?”

When it comes to answering the Bar, will that be enough?

During exams id be often tempted to cite the actual case or article if i feel like i know it, but i learned the risk of citing the wrong case/article out weights the possible benefits, most profs don’t seem to mind as long as you get the actual rule right. They’ll rarely give you points for naming the right article, but will certainly deduct if you name the wrong one.

Second, when it comes to enumerations, is it necessary to name them all if only one is applicable?

For example, if the exam gave me a situation where there was a marriage without a marriage license, and i was asked if it was valid.
My answer would just be to say that its valid and mention the particular exception it falls under, instead of naming all the particular exceptions.
I found the act of naming them all not worth the risk of messing up or forgetting one or two, only if i was absolutely sure would i name them all.

Is that a valid way to answer the Bar?

Moft Dynamic folio vs Dynamic Case

Long story short, I’m looking at this almost exclusively for the leg mount, since i do a lot of reading and annotating on my couch.

One of my iPads corners is dented from a drop so i want to avoid a repeat of that and get the case version, but the thing is i have the magic keyboard and swap between my current case and the keyboard quite frequently, so i dont know if that will wear out the case edges quickly.

Any advice? Do you have either snd are you happy with it?

Rem reviewer

Can anyone Kindly recommend a reviewer for Rem?

I’ve been using Compendious for other subjects (comm,Tax, and labor), mainly cause thats what was recommended and i found myself liking the QnA format

But I haven’t heard many people recommend Divina Compendious for Rem, so i’m hoping to ask for recommendations!

Only using Divina Compendious for Bar review? Any reccomendations ?

Is this a good idea for Crim, Civ, and Rem?

I originally planned on using it only for Comm and Tax because a friend recommended it for those subjects+ (Labor), but i found myself liking the Q and A format a lot. I liked being able to test myself as i went along haha.
(Before Comm, i studied Poli and used Flower Notes)

Is it a good idea to really on Divina Compendious for the remaining subjects?

My original plan was to use Campanilla + BDR for Crim (since Campanilla was what i used in 4th year), and UP BOC for Civ, Labor I have personal notes and already bought the Compendious.

Im worried that it might be too long for the remaining time, or if theres anything thats missing.

Please do drop recommendations!

What does anyone recommend? Just over 6 weeks left so I’m worried it might be a bit long

Model 3 , LR or Standard? Which is better for the Philippine context?

Rn i do not have home charging and do roughly 200km of driving in a week. But every now and then will drive long distance to baguio, La Union, etc.

I want a car that will last 8-10 years, so i was thinking about the LR , because even after the battery degrades, the added range will offset that (like 80% of 750 is still 600, still above what the standard offers new)

But i learned about the difference between the LFP batteries and NMC batteries, and how NMC’s degrade faster and should only be charged to 80% daily.

What do you guys think? Whats the smarted buy?

3v3: Top-spec Mazda 3 vs base model Tesla Model 3?

I’m looking for something to serve as an only car and that will last as an only car good bit. Around 5-10 years.

I live in a condo currently, but my parents live about 45 minutes away and already have a tesla charger for their model Y. They don’t mind me charging every now and then.

Is going full EV feasible? Or should i stick with the Mazda 3?

I know the Mazda HEV is practically just a HEV on paper and barely has efficiency benefits over the base model. But i rarely ever see open charging ports for EV’s.

Any insight would be much appreciated!

Can this still be fixed? Dent on the leather seat from the seatbelt

Im real annoyed cause I’m sure i left the buckle not sandwiched in the seats when i folded it down. But i guess it found its way in somehow?

The car is less than a year old and the rear seats are rarely ever used so still otherwise pristine. If theres any way to make it less noticeable, i’d love to know

Typo in Barista application form

I got the Barista generated to print my application form, but only now realizing theres a one letter typo on my Mothers surname (also my fathers suffix is supposed to be Jr. but instead is II) , i only caught this now, and my deadline is on Wednesday. Its Saturday morning as i type this.

I suppose the offices are closed over the weekend Would the time between Monday and Wednesday be enough to have this settled through the help desk? Has anyone else had a similar issue?

I think my best bed now is to call them on monday.
